We are taking on the beautiful Arundel river circular in partnership with Craghoppers. They will be providing us with goodies for the day to give out. This route has beautiful scenery as well as animals and really helps us connect with nature. This area of the UK has an incredible castle and is a magical hike. Come alone or with a group of friends, everyone is welcome. Leaving town, we cross the **River Ouse** and its broad valley before climbing into the heart of the **South Downs National Park**, Britain’s newest National Park. For much of the day we hike high up on the **chalk ridges and rolling hills** of the Downs, rewarded with panoramic views that stretch inland and out to the English Channel. We pass through **glacial dry valleys** and across open downs, with long stretches where the sea draws ever nearer. Approaching the coast, our path reveals **distant vistas of the legendary Seven Sisters cliffs**, gleaming white in the sunlight. The hike concludes in **Seaford**, a small coastal town steeped in history. Here we find the **Martello Tower**, built in 1810 as part of a chain of 103 towers to guard against French invasion during the Napoleonic Wars. Finishing right by the beach, this is a spectacular end to one of our toughest South Downs challenges. **Toughness:** At **30km with multiple steep climbs** and a brisk pace, this is one of our longest day hikes from London. It is only suitable for experienced and very fit hikers. Erosion has since created an “eighth sister,” and today the cliffs stand as one of England’s most iconic landscapes. We begin in the coastal town of **Seaford**, home to a Napoleonic-era **Martello Tower** built in 1810 as part of a chain of 103 coastal defences against French invasion. From here, the trail climbs onto the cliff tops, where for much of the day we walk high above the sea, treated to endless coastal views and fresh sea air. Starting at Gomshall and winding past pretty Shere, the village behind the little cottage in the film The Holiday. Expect old English houses, ancient woodland and rolling farmland, finishing with lunch and/or a drink at a lovely country pub. ***About this hike*** We start at Gomshall station and head out into the countryside, following a mix of woodland paths, quiet lanes and open farmland. Along the way we’ll pass through Shere, one of the prettiest villages in Surrey, with its little bridge, old cottages and, if you fancy it, a couple of lovely ice cream shops. There are a few climbs to earn the views across the Surrey Hills, but the pace is always relaxed. We’ll finish back at Gomshall at the Gomshall Mill, a welcoming riverside pub, so stick around for a well-earned lunch and a drink if you can. ***The route*** A mix of woodland, farmland and quiet country lanes with some climbs (over 1,200 feet of elevation total). Wales has just three national parks and while we visit Snowdonia and Pembrokeshire regularly, the Brecon Beacons is the one we rarely get to. Our last weekend here was back in 2022, so it's well overdue! And what a place to come back to! Covering more than 1,300km², the national park is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain: dramatic mountain ranges, tranquil reservoirs, hidden falls and endless trails to explore. It's a true walker's paradise and just as special after dark. The Brecon Beacons was only the fifth place in the world to be granted International Dark Sky Reserve status, so if the skies are clear, the stargazing is extraordinary. **🗓️ SATURDAY – The Beacons Circuit** Departing London early on Saturday morning, we'll head to the heart of the Brecon Beacons to tackle the Beacons Circuit – an epic, big-view mountain walk taking in the highest summits of the Brecon Beacons – all in one spectacular hike! This challenging route takes us over four of the area's iconic peaks: Pen y Fan (886m, the highest mountain in southern Britain!), Corn Du (873m), Cribyn (795m) and Fan y Big (719m). Hiking the spectacular Seven Sisters, England's finest coastal hike

**Any Questions WhatsApp Gary 07968585224** Starting in **Seaford**, we follow the coastal path past a historic **Martello Tower** before climbing onto **Seaford Head**, where wide views open across the **English Channel**. The trail rises and falls along the chalk cliffs before dropping into the **Cuckmere Estuary**, a protected wildlife area and our lunch stop near the visitor centre. In the afternoon, we join the **South Downs Way** and enter **Seven Sisters Country Park**, climbing steeply to the trig point at **Cliff End**. From here, we follow the cliff edge over the iconic **Seven Sisters** to **Birling Gap**, then climb past **Belle Tout Lighthouse** and continue to **Beachy Head**, the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain. Total hiking time is approximately 7 to 8 hours moving time. 10 to 12 miles Approx. **Sunday** – Sunday will be half a days hike somewhere Local in the Brecon Beacons National Park. We will hike only 3 to 4 hours then start driving back to London. 6 to 7 miles of Hiking Maximum.
