Oi! Join us for a fun and interactive Portuguese Happy Hour where language enthusiasts and culture lovers come together to practice their language skills. Whether you are a Portuguese speaker looking to improve your or a culture enthusiast wanting to learn more about the Portuguese speaking world, this event is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We meet 2x a month. One week day in Bushwick and another weekend in several locations ( Crown Heights, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Astoria, Lower Manhattan). At least 1x a month, we typically select a location where drinks/food options are very cheap ($5) so our only ask is that you support the business if you are able to. No presh. 😊 Até logo!

The event is 8:00 - 11:00. Check in starts at 7:30. You are guaranteed 1.5 hours of play. We offer doubles games and drill courts with pros. The last 20 minutes, we play our infamous "sky ball" game, or there is free play on the other courts. There are refreshments out all night, including beer, wine, chips, and dips. Tennis levels from advanced beginner and up are welcome, ages 21 and up. Games are made by level. You must know how to play. This event is not for beginners who don't know how to play a game or how to serve. The fee is $55 per person during the first week of the pre-sale. The pre-sale is $60 per person, one week before the event. If the presale is sold out, you can pay $65 at the door, but spots are not guaranteed. Killer Queen is a cult classic team-based arcade strategy game. It's super easy to learn yet infinitely replayable, and it's also a great way to meet new people. The game will be on freeplay all night. All skill levels are welcome. There's always a handful of experienced players willing to teach the game to newbies. We'll informally make pickup teams throughout the night. Come play a super fun game with an incredible community. 21+ because it's a bar.
