Opening at 7:00pm & Chouette play start at 7:30pm. **RSVP** to be included in a 2 hour Chouette or 7 Point Matches. 1st & 2nd Place Prizes The Chouette's Last Game is 9:30pm - so it is a timed event On Tuesdays at Backgammon New York City BGNYC we are back to serving light snacks, wine, beer, tea, and coffee. Backgammon Sign-in & Boards on the 12th floor. We will close around 11:00 pm. Please bring your board if you have one (if you don't, we have a limited amount on hand). **Helllo welcome to your fall book club book announcement** **Our book is A-Time for witches. By Madeline Martin** **You will get your book however you like to read** **You will enjoy the book. At your own home. Or wherever you like to read best. I like to give you a long window as we all have lives that get in way of us curling up with our book. Start date is Friday Oct 2 nd** **We aim to be done Nov 6th that’s six weeks** **Meetup will not allow me to put that date on our site as it’s an extend amount of time not allowed also do not look at meetup map for location there isn’t any** **Your book ,your home. And a final meetup book club meeting will be announced after everyone is done with book. This is a way to get us to unwind , slow down and read more books. While making some time for ourselves. Hope you can join me**

🎤 Open House: Columbia University Toastmasters Club

Gotham Go Group - Tuesdays at the Hungarian

Every Tuesday evening from 5 - closing. All are welcome, from beginners to pros. We usually have 8-15 players show up. This is a casual coffee house environment so don't expect a Go tournament kind of silence, but rather a din of conversation that is probably the vanguard of intellectual New York. Absolutely free, it costs nothing to play, and there is nothing to join. But PLEASE do get a drink, dessert or both to support the good folks at the Hungarian Pastry Shop who so graciously allow us to use their storied and humble space. We have some boards and stones, but it never hurts to bring your own.

We'll be heading to the Salmagundi Club! With a 19th century New York aesthetic, the institute, which is a Manhattan brownstone, is one of the oldest art exhibitons in Manhattan, hosting rotating displays of contemporary art and art created by famous artists.
