The Inner Game NYC #1 — Intro to The Way of the Superior Man

Our first session. We're reading David Deida's *The Way of the Superior Man*, starting with the introduction and Part one. Come having read it, or come having skimmed it, or come having read nothing. Just come with a curious attitude. We'll spend 45 minutes on the book and 45 minutes on open sharing: what's actually going on in your life, what you're working on, what resonates. This is not a lecture. It's a conversation between men who are paying attention.

Tuesday Night Weekly Game Night: 2-Player games edition

Completely optional.** We're a friendly group of gamers that play everything from Carcassonne & Ticket to Ride to Wingspan & heavier Eurogames! If you don't recognize the games, don't worry, everyone is happy to teach new players the rules. And feel free to bring your own board games if you wish. Between all of us, there's usually a large selection of games to choose from. In order to support our awesome, not-too-loud, well-lit venue, each person must purchase something to eat or a few drinks. ***\*\*\*Again, there is a $15 minimum per person.****\*\*\** *** We always welcome new people & we're all here to have fun, but we do have a few ground rules that we ask everyone to be aware of: * Treat everyone in the group with respect & do not discriminate. Some of us "trash talk" when we play, but it's all in good fun & in the spirit of gaming. * This is a restaurant/bar so accidents are bound to happen. However, if you're responsible for ruining someone else's game by spilling a beverage or food on it, the right thing to do is to offer to purchase a new copy for them. Some of the games we bring are out of print so please treat every board game with respect. * If a game is accidentally ruined by a staff member, everyone at the table should pitch in to buy a new one for the owner. Social Chess

This is a social chess meetup. Even if you don’t know how to play or are an absolute beginner you are welcome to come socialize and maybe even get a lesson. I will be teaching free lessons, just ask me when you are there and if there is time I will give you a lesson.. I will provide 5 chess sets & clocks enough for 10 players. But I do ask that if you can please bring a set (& clock if you have it). Thank you.

Whether you want to fight unspeakable horrors in Arkham or build railroads across America or rebuild your farm after the black plague (more fun than it sounds) you can probably find a game you would like. Some games you might see are 7 Wonders, Settlers of Catan, Pandemic, Dominion, Dixit, Puerto Rico, Eldritch Horror, Ticket to Ride, Carcasonne among many others. Games we play: party, social deduction, strategy, euro. There's usually plenty of games around, but feel free to bring your own. It's very important to support our hosts in opening up their place for us. We ask you to purchase a beverage from them. They have a great drink selection to choose from.
