Where: We can be found in the dining area to the left of the entrance, behind the bar. Make sure to come in and say hi when you get there! Everyone is super friendly and can point you towards a moderator if you are new. When: From 6:30 pm till 10:30 pm every Monday Ages: 18+ Price: $6 to be paid by card We are a relaxed group of gamers who meet to play a few games and have a laugh. Mondays are a time to play any game you feel like. We are a friendly community and new people are welcome all the time! If you don't have a game to play then there is sure to be someone available to teach you. Make sure to go up to a table and introduce yourself, we are all really friendly. Looking forward to seeing you all at an event soon! **Venue Support Policy** Our board game nights are hosted by a food and drink venue that generously provides us with space each week and allows us to store our games. In return, we have an agreement to support the venue by purchasing food and drinks on site. To respect this agreement and ensure we can continue using the space, **outside food and drink are strictly not permitted at our events**. We ask all participants to please support the venue instead when attending. Thank you for helping us maintain a positive relationship with the venue and keep the group running.

Every Friday, 7pm, Boards games, people! Come experience the great fun and excitement of board, card and other tabletop games with a diverse group of friendly people. We typically have 10-30 players each week and have been running strong since 2022. We usually suggest $5 for attendance (first time is free!) that goes towards managing the group, stocking our vast library of games and organising extra events with feasts, birthdays and celebrations! Feel free to bring your friends, family, lovers or anyone else you think deserves your wrath in a game of Settlers of Catan, Splendor, Coup, Codenames, Dixit, Ticket to Ride, whatever! Social Beach Volleyball, then Dinner at the Restaurant or Takeaways. **🏐Who is it for?** All Level Players - Beginners, Intermediates to Advanced. For all ages - most of the people that came to our events are in their 20s & 30s. If you are beginner, please don't hesitate to ask our organisers for quick run down of passing and serving. If you are not a beginner, help or encourage beginners how to play better. Have fun and enjoy the game. 📍**Where** **Coogee Beach** North Side of the Beach, near the small boats, near Coogee Pavillion Look for Blue Copaya Net or yellow net, Boombox speaker or blue IKEA bag. Coogee Club volleyball sometimes also there, that is not us. 🎫**Event Ticket** Event Ticket at the event is $3 from each attendees to help pay meetup cost, buy new nets, balls & other equipment for the events. *Available tap to pay using card or phone at the event or cash or payid.* **🏐Volleyball Game Time** **2:00pm - 2:30pm** Practice Session (Passing, Serving, Spiking, Teamwork) **2:30pm until 6:00pm** Games (Non Daylight Savings Time) **3:00pm until 8:00pm** Games (Daylight Savings Time) ***Maintain respect to each other's space. Please follow game rules below.*** 📌V**olleyball Game Rules** * Max 3 hits per team * A block does not count as one of the 3 hits * Encourage passing or setting the ball to your team mates * No double hits (except after a block) * No touching the net * Serve behind the court line * Ball out = point to other team * No catching, kicking or throwing the ball * Rotate when your team wins the serve from the opponents * If your team is already serving and wins the point → no rotation * Communication is encouraged to avoid collisions (Say mine! or my ball) * No interference or distraction of the opposing team * Fix the net if loosen * Play safe and communicate with team mates * Help setup/pack up the nets and balls * Do not lose any pins * Avoid kicking the ball as sand can hit other people's eyes We will be playing 6v6, 5v5, 4v4 at Coogee Beach on rotation so that everyone who attends gets a chance to play. We will have 2-3 nets for everyone. **Winning team stays, losing team allow next team to play.
