Our co-working space member at C\*SPACE, Miguel, together with Carlos, will be hosting the Community Game Room, bringing new games every month for you to discover or rediscover. Between the 2 of them, they have more than 300 games in their collections so there will be something for everyone. You are also more than welcome to bring along your favorite games! **Entry:** Free, but we do ask for a donation for drinks available in the kitchen (coffee, tea, beer, etc.). **About our hosts:** **Miguel** is a professional venture capitalist by day and amateur game designer by night. He has a wide ranging interest in tabletop games including word games, social deduction party games, economic Eurogames (favorite designers are Martin Wallace and Uwe Rosenberg!), historical wargames and card games like Bridge, Poker and the German classic, Skat. **Carlos** is a mathematician who marvels at the art and science of designing board games , and greatly enjoys playing in a group (particularly cooperative games!). No ticket needed; just tell the staff you’re going to the café. 🔑**The Game Format** Swiss system, 10+3, 5 rounds 👨👧👧**Player Divisions** Players are divided into two groups. \- A Group over 1300 \- C Group under 1300 \- If you wish to play in a different group from your rating\, please let the host know during registration\. **🤹🏼♀️ How it works** * **Registration:** Tell the host your first name and chess rating (any platform, any time control) * **Pairings:** Once registration closes, the host will pair the players. * **Tables**: You can find your table number and color (white/black) at the link below. * **The Game:** Before the tournament starts, I’ll place table numbers on the tables. Go to your assigned table. One of the players set the clock app to 10+3 (10 mins + 3s increment) and start. * **Report Results:** After the game, one of the players report the result to the host. * **Next Round:** Once all games are finished, the next round will be paired. After a lunch with Saigon's flavours and warm conversation, we will jump into some easy-to-play boardgame sessions. With a little bit of luck or strategy, you can win at games like Poker, Catan or Werewolf. Expect surprises, laughs and a little bit of bluffing... All games are for beginners, but the more adventurous ones are also more than welcome. **Agenda:** 1 PM – 2:30 PM – Lunch 2:30 PM – 6 PM – Short and long boardgame sessions, with breaks of around 15 minutes to socialise. Es sind viele Spiele da und es können auch Spiele mitgebracht werden. Jeder ist willkommen. Pro Spieler müssen ein Euro Raumnutzungsgebühr gezahlt werden.
