Hi everyone! One of my biggest passions in life is art and its history. I love sharing my own artistic knowledge as well as learning new perspectives of it from fellow art lovers. I would like to try to execute a small art crawl on Saturday. There are a sprinkling of art galleries in Jersey City we can go to that are normally open from 11 am to 6 pm. It is totally up to you if you want to just visit one gallery or a few of them! Here are the galleries I found that are walking distance: Novado Gallery - 110 Morgan St Deep Space Gallery-77 Cornelison Ave Village West Gallery-331 Newark Ave If you’re up for it, there is one a bit further out in Journal Square, SMUSH Gallery- 340 Summit Ave Of course, we can also pop into a coffee shop or bar for refreshments. We're fascinated with how the body works, and we feel like you just might be too. We work with models who have a physical practice: boxers, climbers, dancers, lifters, athletes. Poses are directed to put the body's mechanics on display. This event is hosted by Dan Boterashvili of Harvest Strength Training, a personal trainer and visual artist, alongside Alexander Singer, community engagement professional and bartender.
