A monthly meetup open to the public focusing on reducing overconsumption and waste by helping the community mend clothing, teaching generalized sewing, and offering guidance through your fabric based projects. A member of CRASH Space with sewing knowledge will be in attendance to help with small mending and alteration tasks or to facilitate your journey into the world of textiles. It's again that time of year when sitting outside makes for a pleasant evening. So let's meet, have a beverage or bite to eat at one of our favorite locations, and enjoy some fresh air and conversation in Spanish. We'll all be sitting outside at a table or tables near Corner Bakery. I'll have a Meetup sign and an orange Spanish-English dictionary on the table, so it shouldn't be too hard to find us. You can find free parking in the Macy's garage (enter on Del Mar west of Lake), in the structure just south of Corner Bakery at San Pasqual, or sometimes on the street on Lake Ave. after 6pm.
