Join us for a relaxed morning of good conversation, fresh pastries, and a scenic hike up Bernal Heights Park! We'll start by meeting at **Arizmendi Bakery** to grab coffee and pastries before heading out together for a walk to the top of Bernal Heights Park. The hike is short but rewarding, with panoramic views of San Francisco and the Bay Area. **Notes:** * Please arrive on time so we can leave together after meeting at the bakery. We'll wait until **9:45am** for any late arrivals before heading out. * We'll keep a relaxed pace and make sure no one gets left behind. * Doggos welcome. Looking forward to exploring one of San Francisco's best viewpoints! 628-236-9369 if you have any questions

Coffee Talk at Ain’t Normal Cafe

Coffee Talk at Ain’t Normal Cafe

One of my favorite weekend rituals is grabbing a pastry at Starter Bakery and a coffee at Ain’t Normal in Rockridge. If you haven’t been to either, you’re in for a treat! Ain’t Normal is a multi-roaster cafe that takes coffee seriously. Come hang out and chat with fellow group members. As per usual, feel free to bring any beans that you’re drinking and really digging (not a requirement, just a fun talking point). Also the cafe is right next to the Rockridge BART station which makes it very easy to get there. See y’all on Saturday!

**Friends** Please read carefully as there is new info here. This event meets 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month. **This week we are meeting at Espresso Roma Cafe in Berkeley. There are a few picnic tables on the side of the cafe that can accommodate about 24 people. When facing the cafe they are on the left side in the grassy area. We may meet there or at the long tables under the canopy depending upon availability. For new attendees we will have a balloon on the table to identify our group. We hope new people will become regulars to this social group, Do not attend if you are on the waitlist as this is causing the crowd to get too large. Sign up early as seating is limited at the cafe. If you show up and are not on the going list you will be asked to leave or sit somewhere else. Three no shows will get you removed from the group so please change your RSVP if you cannot make it and give someone on the waitlist a chance to come. Please don’t do this at the last minute unless it’s an emergency. We will initially allow 10 members on the going list and then we will be adding people from the waitlist balancing out the event by gender. We will be posting the coffee meetups month by month to give more of the newcomers a chance to sign up and get a spot. Moving forward we will talk to the owners about providing enough chairs for the long tables and not just the smaller ones. Thanks to everyone in advance for your cooperation.**
