This performance includes: “Buena Vista Social Club” “Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody” "Heathers: The Musical" "Book of Mormon" "The Great Gatsby" Dress for warm weather, and stay hydrated. Bring a blanket to picnic on the lawn behind seating and drink/food (or buy on site). I will update in "Comments" actual location on the lawn day-of. Friends/family welcome. ***Time to say goodbye to the summer, almost!*** If the weather stays put, let's do an afternoon near the water - and in NJ! Surf City Bar is ultimate waterfront style bar and restaurant in Jersey *City* with unparalleled views of the Manhattan skyline and Liberty Island. **Coming from Manhattan:** Take the PATH (various stops in the city, 33rd - 23rd - 14th +) to Grove Station in Jersey City. Followed by an easy 10-15 walk. I will be leaving from the 23rd PATH stop at around 12:15pm and will wait at the Grove station until 12:40p when I will begin the walk to the restaurant. \*\*I will leave an updated time/location in "Comments" the morning of the event if anyone wants to join me. Pier 96 @ 55th Street ***About the Artist*** **Mandy Gonzalez** is an accomplished film, TV, stage actor and author. She possesses one of the most powerful and versatile contemporary voices of our time. Mandy has starred on Broadway in the mega-hit *Hamilton* as Angelica Schuyler. She also originated Nina Rosario in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, *In The Heights*, for which Mandy received a Drama Desk Award. Mandy also starred as Elphaba in the Broadway production of *Wicked,* blowing the roof off of New York’s Gershwin Theatre each night as she belted out the signature song, “Defying Gravity.” She most recently guest-starred as Norma Desmond in the Tony-winning revival of *Sunset Blvd*. New this year, each performance will begin with **Stepping into the Spotlight,** an exciting new showcase featuring Broadway’s next generation of stars. This special opening act will feature understudies from current Broadway productions and shine a light on the remarkable talent waiting in the wings.
