**Join us for a Sunday Crafternoon Maker Meetup!** Whether you are looking to carve out dedicated creative time, wanting to get a lingering project across the finish line, or just looking to chat with fellow local makers—this is the space for you. 🧵 **What to Bring** Bring any art or craft project you are currently working on, as long as it is portable and quiet. Think: * **Yarn & Thread:** Knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, hand-sewing, mending. * **Paper & Sketching:** Sketchbooks, adult coloring books, watercolors, bullet journaling. * **Digital:** Tablets, iPad drawing, laptop writing/design. * *Please note: Because we are meeting in a shared public space, no power tools, sewing machines, or high-odor materials (like strong solvents or spray glues), please!* **📍 Where to Find Us** * We will be meeting at **Columbus Metropolitan Library - Franklinton Branch** in **Meeting Room**. Room is reserved under **CBUS Maker Meetup.** **⏱️ Timeline** * **1:30 PM:** Arrive, grab a seat, get settled, and do a quick round of introductions so we can see what everyone is working on. * **1:45 PM - 3:30 PM:** Open maker time! Chat, craft, relax, and swap creative ideas. **⚠️ A Note on RSVPs** Space for this meetup is limited to 10 spots. If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please update your RSVP to "Not Going" as soon as possible so someone on the waitlist can grab your spot. Columbus Yarn Club at the Grandview Heights Library

12:45-3:45 in Conference Room B, library lower level. Bring your yarn projects, meet new friends. If you RSVP "yes" but later are not able to attend, please update your RSVP to "no". This will allow the next person on the waitlist to attend. Plenty of parking in the lot, in the overflow lot across the street, and on the street. See you there!

Worthington Park Library Craft Day W/Emily

If you enjoy sewing knitting, crocheting, working with yarn, this is the group for you. Meet new friends, bring your projects, learn from others.
We normally meet a few times a week 6-8pm. Occasionally we do weekends or all day meet ups for larger projects and sewing days. This specific meet up is for a sewing day, but you are welcome to drop by or leave at anytime with any craft you are working on (crochet, knit, needlepoint etc.)

Columbus Arduino Raspberry Pi Enthusiasts (CARPE) (Check Location)

Bring your Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontroller, or any other electronic project and join fellow electronics makers for a night of creativity and collaboration! This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability.

Just in time for holiday gift giving - let's spark our creativity and gather at Worthington Candle Works for a hands-on sensory experience. We will have options to create a custom-scented candle, body scrub, soap, reed diffuser, lotion or room spray. We can all choose our own product to make and take home with us that day. Please note that candles require a 2-hour set time, which is a perfect time to head to lunch at Dewey's Pizza, which is only a 100 foot walk from Worthington Candle Works. The pricing is as follows: all items other than candles are $28; candles are $25-$50, depending on size

All Fem Board Game Night

Join us for a night of board gaming with FANG (Fem All Night Gaming). **We are an all fem & them board game group** in Columbus, Ohio. We play modern hobby board games! If you're unsure what that is, we can teach you! We normally start around 6:15. If you're running late text our chat line, or send a message in Discord We'll be meeting on the second floor of Giant Eagle Market in Grandview in their cafe area.
