I (Melissa) have celebrated Christmas in July as a silly made up holiday for over a decade! I'm keeping the tradition going here at the Rock. This year, we're putting together a popup escape room at the shop. We'll split into 2 teams to compete to "escape" first, then celebrate afterward over some board games and hanging out. Your $10 ticket secures your spot since this is a small-scale event, and includes your drink of choice from the coffee bar! Christmas-y outfits encouraged but not required 🎄

Join us at Tomat on our rooftop for board games every Wednesday evening from 5-8pm! We provide chess, checkers, scrabble, backgammon, and cards--though you're welcome to bring any of your favorites. Enjoy a sensational view of jets landing at LAX under our beautiful shade canopy. Our food has been featured on the Michelin Guide since opening, and our cocktail and wine lists have received awards from PUNCH and Wine Spectator, respectively. We offer seasonal beers from around LA, and a vast selection of Non-Alcoholic options.

Game Night: Blood on the Clocktower

Come hang out and play *Blood on the Clocktower*, a super fun social deduction game full of bluffing, guessing, and a little bit of chaos. **About Blood on the Clocktower** This is a social deduction game where \*everyone\* gets a secret role—some players are trying to solve the mystery, while others are secretly working against the group. You’ll be chatting, accusing, defending yourself, and trying to figure out who’s telling the truth (and who’s definitely not). Even if you get “killed,” you’re still in the game and part of the action -- you win or lose with your team at the end of the game. It’s easy to pick up, really engaging, and a great way to meet people or just have a memorable night. **Beginners and Veterans Welcome** Whether you've never played before, or are looking to play some more complex characters and scripts, we'd love to have you. Just show up ready to play and have fun. **Cost** Admission is $10, paid at the door, and includes pizza, drinks, and various other snacks. Studious Coworking graciously maintains and provides this event space and does a lot of the heavy lifting in creating third spaces and building community. Your admission fee helps them continue to provide space for community events like this. **Conduct** This is a respectful space for everyone. Please refrain from making unwelcome personal advances. Additionally, please remember that while bluffing and lying is a core part of Blood on the Clocktower, emotional abuse or coercion is not. Any behavior that makes others uncomfortable will not be tolerated and will result in getting banned from future events. **Parking** Meters on Broadway & Hill are $1.50/hr, for 2 hrs max. Portland Mushroom & Alpine Lake Integration - Women's Retreat

**Community Journey!** This Journey includes a Mushrooom Journey at PNW Integrative and 3 days integrating it at an alpine lake deep in the forest in the Cascade Mountains. Plus a local paddle session near Portland for preparation. So far only women have either registered or inquired, so we're going to honor that space and keep it an all women's Journey. **This is perfect if you:** * Want a **safe, legal, guided psilocybin experience** * Get overwhelmed from **stress, anxiety, depression or trauma** related issues * Are **curious about psychedelics** and want the ideal container with the perfect facilitators and guides to enhance the experience. * Want time in **wild nature** to process, integrate, & reconnect, which all helps anchor the benefits of a mushroom journey. **What makes this special:** Most retreats focus on the mushroom journey itself, then send you home. We'll also hold a preparation circle later in the day. **Day 2: Medicine Day at PNWI** This is a full medicine journey with our experienced facilitators! PNWI is in the heart of Inner SE Portland. Full of plant life and plenty of great vibes, it features a large group space as well as private rooms (extra) for those seeking a bit more. The journey will last about 6 hours, and has the potential for massive, life changing healing, alignment and awareness. **Days 3 - 5: Integration At Cascade Lakes** After your journey, we head into the Cascades for 3 days of deep nature, group sharing, healthy food, and time to walk, journal, and just vibe with the world. This is where you can unpack your vision and your journey, speak to mystery on it's turf and have it respond to you, be in deep community supported by facilitators, and the natural world. We'll offer paddleboards, yoga, group sessions, and more. The time will go by almost too quickly. On your way out you can raft down the gorgeous White Salmon River with Eric as your guide.
