**Cost**: We do not require a fee to attend the events and The Forgehas graciously reserved us space to mee. We urge everyone to take full advantage of their drink selection and restaurant menu. The Forge has a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. does have a full bar and kitchen. in order to keep the event free, we want to average $20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each and we encourage you to try the mocktails as a level up! Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! **Parking**: We ask all attendees to park in the overflow lot located behind the Mexican restaurant next door unless of course you have mobility needs and need to park in the Forge Lot out front. **Gaming**: The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. **when you arrive**: The Forge staff can direct you to our reserved area and a group event host can help you find a table and get going on something fun! Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. **Prohibited behavior** We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. This includes especially, harassment or disrespectful behavior towards attendees and Forge staff. We'll meet at The Capital One Café, 167 Easton Town Center, Space A-103. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. Friday, October 30 Get out of the house, put on a costume, and join us for a spooky night of karaoke, glow bowling, and meeting new people! Make new friends, have fun, and take a break from scrolling. Come solo, bring a friend, or come as a couple no bowling skills or karaoke experience needed. **Not a bowler?** No worries **neither am I! I’m actually pretty bad.** I go for the pizza, beer, and great conversations. **Come bow**l, sing, hang out, & enjoy the company. **Plan to arrive at 8:00 PM**. Karaoke starts at 8:00 PM, and everyone **must be checked in by 8:45 PM**. After checking in, hang out in the bar, enjoy karaoke, and mingle while we wait for our bowling lanes to be ready. **$20 per person** includes bowling and shoe rental**. Exact cash is preferred** to help check-in move quickly. Sequoia Pro Bowl is **graciously reserving lanes 1–10 for 2+ hours our group.** When you check in, you’ll draw a number to find out which lane you’re on. **This helps mix everyone up for a fun social mixer.** Couples will be on lanes **right next to each other.** Let’s **support the venue** and pack the house!
