Los Angeles Projector Swarm Meetup
Sat, Sep 12, 1:00 AMOpen To All, No Membership Required We specialize in browser-based musical synthesis and real-time visuals, making the world of algorave accessible to anyone with a laptop. Through shows, online exchanges, and meetups, we push the envelope of how art is accessed, consumed, and collectively rewritten. We'll have hdmi input if you want to plug-in and demo your work, or we have comfy couches if you just want to see what people have to show off! A low-key hangout open to everyone, from those who make music to those who just love it. \-\-\-\-\-\- CRASH Space is a non-profit organization located in Los Angeles and run by volunteers. Nibble Night - Bsides Soldering Meetup
Sun, Sep 13, 2:30 AMNibble Night is back again! The ScriptKitty team is building cat-shaped, flipper compatible Mesh radios for classes at BSides events this year. Come help us build Nibbles, learn surface mount soldering, and get your own Meshtastic/Meshcore radio! Come build with us, or just hang out and see how hacking tools are made. If you have experience with soldering or pick and place assembly (or want to learn), come join us for a fun night of music, pizza, and making electronics! We’ll be giving LoRa node kits to volunteers who can help us build for more than 2 hours, but anyone is welcome to hang out and see how electronics are made (and sometimes destroyed)! We’ll be building the Nibble Zero, a Flipper Zero compatible LoRa mesh radio, that also works just fine on its own! These cute Mesh nodes will be powering workshops at Bsides events, teaching beginners how to get started with Meshcore, Meshtastic, and Reticulum. We have limited table space available, but anyone is welcome to hang out at NSL!
