Los Angeles Urban Canvas Collective Creative Session

We are hosting a casual creative session for the Los Angeles Urban Canvas Collective to connect with others who share an interest in our city's public art scene. This is an open space for people who appreciate urban landscapes, photography, mural culture, or just want to spend an afternoon in good company. We will be meeting up to share ideas, talk about upcoming local projects, and simply enjoy the creative energy that defines our neighborhood. Whether you are an artist, a documentarian, or just someone who enjoys exploring the city’s walls, you are welcome here. Los Angeles Projector Swarm Meetup

Open To All, No Membership Required We specialize in browser-based musical synthesis and real-time visuals, making the world of algorave accessible to anyone with a laptop. While our heart is in the web, our swarm welcomes all manners of live coding environments—from local audio engines to custom-built instruments. Through shows, online exchanges, and meetups, we push the envelope of how art is accessed, consumed, and collectively rewritten. We'll have hdmi input if you want to plug-in and demo your work, or we have comfy couches if you just want to see what people have to show off! SGVHAK Study Session [LinuxCNC]

This is a meetup to explore building a LinuxCNC fabric cutting machine. The most likely outcome is another idea that goes no where, or perhaps at best another pile of stuff to join the existing half finished project pile. As usual, this is a Linux/Open Source software/hardware centric meetup, with occasional rant against authoritarian government and/or products. With the above in mind, feel free to join us if you are interested in 3d printing with Prusa Printers, embroidery digitizing with Inkscape/Inkstitch, laser engraving with Inkscape/ULS, CNC/manual machining, through hole/SMD soldering, PCB design with KiCAD, AVR/RP2040/RP2350, sewing and knitting machine, and little bit of TIG/MIG welding.
