This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. The Completely Series - (P.M.) Ohio State University Field Shoot

Meet at Panera Bread, 300 W. Lane Ave and we will walk over to the campus together to look for some cool shots. These events on the schedule are to serve three purposes: 1. These will serve as field shoots targeted at The Completely Series homework. Generally, each of these shoots will focus on the homework assigned in the two prior weeks. So locations and topics will be picked to match those expectations. 2. Additionally, these events are to serve as placeholders for TIME OF DAY. They are intended to be modified as needed to capture SUNSET and/or EVENING light. They will likely be modified to time out for the IDEAL light on that day, at that location. EXPECT THEM TO BE MODIFIED as the time of year changes and/or schedule conflicts occur. But THERE WILL BE at least one evening shoot per month. 3. Lastly, they are also to serve as semi-monthly evening shoots for the group as a whole. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE IN THE COMPLETELY SERIES to attend any of these morning field shoots. With Microsoft introducing Translytical Task Flows, Power BI now has a native Fabric-backed pattern for write-back. Update that row. Approve that line item. Override that forecast. These are all things we have wanted, and they are wonderful. If you are not using Translytical Task Flows for that, start Monday. But there is more. So much more. That button connects to Fabric User Data Functions, and it is not just a write-back widget. It is serverless Python running directly in Fabric. You can pass report context and user input into governed business logic, access Fabric data sources through managed connections, inspect the verified caller’s identity metadata, call external APIs when appropriate, and do it without standing up a separate API server. Write-back is just the beginning. What happens when the button is not constrained to a table update? What happens when it can reach past your warehouse, past your tenant, and into the systems and services your business actually runs on, while still answering the question of who clicked it?
