CASA DRASSANES AL TEATRE: OLEC MÜN - HOMO LÜDENS

CASA DRASSANES AL TEATRE: OLEC MÜN - HOMO LÜDENS

Sun, Sep 20, 4:30 PM
From Casa Drassanes - Non-profit Techno Community

**Olec Mün presents *Homo Ludens*, an experimental electronic journey built entirely from improvisation.** Humanity is play: exploring boundaries, crossing them, and expanding them. On the table, machines, textures, and sound fragments meet without a fixed destination. Chance, deep listening, and intuition trace landscapes in real time, drifting between contemplation, rhythm, and the sudden emergence of unexpected forms. ***Homo Ludens* is, above all, a space to play with the unknown.** As always, **part of the proceeds will go to Iguality,** register on the website to start collecting Casa Drassanes points and track your impact. ONLINE [TICKETS](https://www.casadrassanes.org/event-details/casa-drassanes-al-teatre-olec-mun-presents-homo-ludens) (There will be tickets at the door until sold out) Go check [Casa Drassanes website](https://www.casadrassanes.org/) to find out about the project and the goal.

ProductTank Barcelona - Back to School: Lightning Talks Edition

Tue, Sep 15, 4:30 PM
From ProductTank Barcelona
4.7

Back from summer and ready for some inspiration? Get ready for our Lightning Talks edition. This one runs differently. There is no fixed lineup and no pre-speaker selected. You propose a talk, the room votes, and the winning talks happen that same night in parallel rooms. Anyone can submit. If your form is complete, your talk goes on the ballot and the community decides the rest. **How it works** 1. **[Submit your talk HERE](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdAJIV3xNpgugFqcfqQp4e2_jIITgChzR_Ed2SMWEyRGm3FwQ/viewform?usp=dialog)** between September 4 and September 14. Title, two lines of description, one category. 2. On the night, every proposal goes up on screen and everyone votes. 3. The 6-8 most voted talks run at 19:15, one per room, 20 minutes each. 4. Each room comes back and tells the rest of us what happened. **The four categories** * **AI in product**. How are you working, what you actually built, tried or broke. Not predictions. * **Product fundamentals**. Discovery, prioritization, metrics, strategy. The craft itself. * **Career and interviews**. Growing, switching, hiring, getting hired, and what interview loops really look like from either side of the table. * **Failures and lessons learned**. The thing that didn't work, and what you know now because of it. **👉🏽 [SUBMIT YOUR TALK HERE!](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdAJIV3xNpgugFqcfqQp4e2_jIITgChzR_Ed2SMWEyRGm3FwQ/viewform?usp=dialog) 👈🏽** ===== 📍 **Location:** eDreams ODIGEO, Barcelona 🗓 **Date:** Tuesday, September 15th 🕒 **Time:** Doors open at 6:30 PM \| Event starts at 6:45 PM Don’t forget to bring a valid ID to enter the venue. 🎟 **RSVPs fill fast** — please update yours at least 24h in advance if your plans change so someone on the waitlist can join.

Deep Dive Lectures - When the Self Dissolves: What Ayahuasca Does to the Brain

Deep Dive Lectures - When the Self Dissolves: What Ayahuasca Does to the Brain

Wed, Sep 23, 4:30 PM
From Deep Dive: Bar lectures in Barcelona

IMPORTANT❗️ Seats are now confirmed only through payment on Luma [https://luma.com/vimqmnt9.](https://luma.com/vimqmnt9) If you'd like to come, please pay via the link and re-RSVP here. We'll approve you as soon as we see the payment. Sorry for the extra step, it's the only way we can know exact numbers for the venue. Deep Dive is a new series of lecture nights in Barcelona: we borrow a bar, bring in someone who really knows their subject, and let them talk about it in English. 🧠 Lecture: **"When the Self Dissolves: What Ayahuasca Does to the Brain and Body”** 🎤 Speaker: **Dr. Francisco Madrid-Gambin,** Hospital del Mar Research Institute 📍 Location: **Keanu Izakaya Bar**, Carrer de París 209, Eixample 📅 **Wednesday, 23 September,** doors open at 6:30 PM People have been drinking ayahuasca for centuries, but scientists have only recently begun to examine what happens in the brain and body during the experience. Francisco is one of the researchers doing this work. His research looks at changes in the blood, how the brain responds, and how the two appear to move together as the familiar sense of being “you” begins to loosen. He's good at explaining these things to people who aren't scientists, which is exactly the point of the night. No science background needed. The talk runs about 50 minutes, followed by open Q&A and time to chat with Francisco and the rest of the room after. **Agenda** 6:30 PM – Doors open: find a seat (open seating!), order food & drinks, and expect a bar line, arriving early is key. 6:55 PM – Host introduction 7:00 PM – Lecture begins 7:50 PM – Audience Q&A 8:00 PM – Have 1:1 time with the speaker, mingle with fellow guests, and order another round 8:30 PM – Wrap up. See you there 🍷 IG: @deepdive.bcn
