Clay, Cookies & Create - taller de ceramica/ceramics/pottery

Are you looking to try out ceramics or up-skill your existing knowledge? Look no further! This workshop is standalone or you can book a block of 4 that need not be consecutive. It takes place in a very spacious and bright studio and you are welcomed to come with your own ideas or simply follow along and let your creativity blossom during the mindful 3 hours of making. The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to create functional ware or small sculptural work. Beginners will be guided through the process using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing and surface decoration. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcomed to use the wheel which would need to be reserved in advance. Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are mainly run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to practice their English. They last 3 hours, materials and aprons are provided and your pieces will be fired and ready for pick up around 10 days after. Cost: 42€/person PayPal/40€ Bizum. Block of 4 workshops 150€

Clay & Create - taller de ceramica/ceramics/pottery

Ever want to try ceramics or build on your skills? Then this would be the perfect opportunity. The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to make so many different things for yourself, friends or family - bowls, plates, sushi dishes, plants pots and much more. Beginners will be guided through the process of making things using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing, under-glazing and glazing. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcome to use my wheel (to be reserved in advance). Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to chat and learn. They last 2.5 hours and basic materials are provided. Taller de cerámica - Baldosas!

Nos vemos el 11 de julio para realizar una baldosa cerámica! Trabajaremos con planchas de barro utilizando diferentes técnicas decorativas con engobes, herramientas y efectos para obtener una pieza que tenga una expresión estética propia, y nos acompañe para adornar espacios, comunicar un mensaje o ritualizar momentos de nuestro día a día. Realizaremos las baldosas en Echea y una vez que estén horneadas se retirarán en un punto a convenir. Incluye materiales, herramientas, horneada y un picoteo durante el taller.
