Depuis 10 ans, nous réunissons des esprits curieux et technophiles pour échanger idées, projets et questions, dans une ambiance détendue et accessible. Néophytes bienvenus, experts également ! Nous explorons comment les avancées scientifiques et les nouvelles technologies peuvent améliorer nos vies, en théorie et en pratique, ainsi que nos sociétés, et notre civilisation ! **Le format** C'est une discussion commune encadrée, avec une courte introduction pour présenter le sujet du jour, suivie d'échanges libres (à partir de 22h en général). **Pour nous trouver** Des affichettes "Meetup" seront visibles sur les tables du groupe.
Sunday Badminton - 12pm Intermediate/Advanced
Sun, Oct 25, 11:00 AMHi Badminton Fans! Come and join us every Sunday for a fun session of badminton. There are usually 2 sessions to choose from. **This session is open to intermediate level players and above ONLY.** What that means is that you should be comfortable with short serves to the T, doubles rotations, and smashes. There is also an 11 am Open Session for players of all abilities. If you're unsure of your level, sign up for the 11am session to start or ask us! We will try our utmost to ensure that you play with people of similar levels. As such, we can and will restrict participation at this 12pm session at our discretion. **What Do You Need** Don't worry about equipment; racquets and shuttlecocks are provided, and there's no need for a badminton license or insurance. Just bring your indoor sports shoes, and a willingness to meet new friends and have lots of fun. There are changing rooms and showers. **Get There Early** Try and get there early to change and get warmed up so that we can start right on time. The courts are normally not being used before we play, so we can get a little extra time playing. **Registration & Payments** Registration is 14€ per person, and you can sign up via PayPal through this event page. For alternative payments, check for available slots on the event page first. Then, submit your payment via https://revolut.me/jonathwu3q with a description of which event you are signing up for and send the screenshot to one of us so that we can add you. *Please Note: If your name is **not** in the attendees list and you do not have confirmation from us, you will be turned away.* **Annual Membership Option** For regular players, there is the option to take out an annual membership. This costs 80€ for the first year and is renewable each year for 40€. This reduces the weekly registration fee to only 10€ per session. **No Refunds** In the case of a cancellation or no-show, there are no refunds. See you all on the court on Sunday. Can I get a refund? * No refunds for cancellations or no-shows. If you inform us early enough, we can try to find a substitute and refund you, but no guarantees. 4. Why can’t I get a refund? * We need a fixed number of participants to maximize court usage, court fees, team arrangements, and team rotations. Cancelations throw all of this off. 5. Do I need to bring anything? Water? Racquets? Birdies? * If you have your own racquet, that will be best! Otherwise, we have spare ones and we provide the shuttlecocks. Un atelier en petit groupe pour prendre le temps d’explorer les couleurs, les matières et les gestes, sans modèle à reproduire ni résultat à atteindre. Ici, il n’est pas nécessaire de savoir peindre. On peut essayer, recouvrir, recommencer, changer d’outil, suivre une couleur, prendre du recul… ou simplement voir ce qui vient. Je suis présente tout au long de l’atelier pour vous accompagner lorsque vous en ressentez le besoin, tout en laissant à chacun suffisamment d’espace pour explorer à son rythme. Le matériel est fourni : toile, peintures et outils. Chacun repart avec sa création. COURS - Volumes : Raccourcis et Rentrées de Contours
Mon, Oct 26, 6:30 PM🔎Deuxième cycle de cette année, essentiel mais intimidant à aborder seul·e : les volumes! Qui nous aideront à comprendre le modelé, les directions, la profondeur et les ombres. Nous poursuivons notre compréhension de la profondeur avec un cours un peu plus théorique ciblé sur les raccourcis, puis sur son application plus ludique au travers des rentrées de contours. On se retrouve à 19h30, mais qui veut peut arriver au local à partir de 19h pour grignoter, discuter! Attention, le local a changé, il s'agit maintenant de la Générale, près de la mairie du 14ème.
