DANCING EVERY 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD SATURDAY NIGHTS <3 Tribalheart Ecstatic dance creates space for free-form movement in a chat free zone where you can dive deeply into the heart, reconnecting, expressing, dancing in and out, up and down, learning to let go of anything and everything that holds you back from yourSelf and inner freedom. Let the energy move you, let the spirit of the heart guide you. There is space to dance alone and no pressure to connect with anyone else, just be yourself and honour what you need in the moment. This night is an inspiration and fusion of club culture, dancing yoga, active meditation, cardio fitness, Ecstatic trance dance (blindfolds available) and a sacred Nataraj. If you choose to connect, it is a chance to meet others without words from a place of movement, meditation, energy and soul; eyes and heart wide open. ### We will start the evening with a welcoming warmup to relax the body and mind. Together we will set an intention for the evening inviting the heart to open and awaken within us thus creating sacred space for all. For those that wish to partake, we will enjoy and deepen our intention with a short Cacao ceremony. (The cacao is used to take us deeper into our body, awakening our senses, connecting us to heart energy and aiding a spring in our step) We also embark on some dynamic breathwork to fire us up for the evening. \- Please leave at least 2 hours after eating a heavy meal if drinking cacao\. -Please do not drink alcohol before the event as it is contraindicated with some of the breathwork techniques we practice We inject passion into sourcing the music for our events and aim to deliver an eclectic mix of genres for your heart. From tribal to electronic and everything in between we aim to assist a natural flow peaking and resting to mirror the rhythm and energy of life. Prepare to shake, spin, whirl and twirl. The music becomes the facilitator during the wild ecstatic dance ending with moments of stillness into silence where we can rest and breathe together Each DJ has their own sound and energy to be shared, making each night unique and different... She is a lover of all types of dance, meditation, massage, breathwork and many other nourishing things. Tara qualified in Mental health nursing in 1998 and worked as a specialist addictions nurse for over 17 years. She trained and developed in various methods over the years from bodywork, tantra, shamanism, hypnotherapy, psychosexual somatics and breathwork which she blends into her various groups and 1:1 practise. Hey Terrible Footballers! We play in Regent Park. See the map above or follow the below whatsapp link. Leave a message and someone will respond on Saturday night. Sometimes we have openings as late as that and this is when final list is finalised.So feel free to add your name to the waitlist. Everyone is welcome! That means every skill level, gender, sexuality etc. Just gotta be over 18! No one gets upset if we miss a pass.... or the ball altogether! Skills vary from old semi-pro players all the way to never kicked a ball. We weren’t fibbing when we said inclusive. Please bring a BLACK and WHITE tshirt. Please aim to arrive at 10:15 (ideally 10:15am to help out in the setting up) as we want to kickoff at 10:30. (If you arrive late after kick off, you may have to wait around half hour for the next half). There is nothing worse for organisers than people showing up late! • As mentioned above, we don’t charge, however, if you are a regular, we do ask you to donate some money once or twice a year for the upkeep and new equipment. First timers - please kindly read below about bringing your board, meetup fee, purchasing drinks and food, etiquette etc Please RSVP - CSC requires names of guests Intro Dear Backgammon Lovers, We had a decent turnout on Sunday with 14 backgammoners showing up at Waterloo Station. We'll be returning next to the Civil Service Club that is moments from Trafalgar Square. Social & Fun Backgammon at the CSC Whether you're a seasoned backgammoner or a newbie looking to learn this fabulous game that is thousands of years old, our social event is open to all. This is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your game, and share a laugh (or a lucky double six!) over backgammon. Add in a drink, maybe dinner, and you’ve got the recipe for a fun and relaxed evening. Venue Food and Drink Just a little reminder that when we use the Civil Service Club, we’re asked to buy at least one drink whilst we’re there, and hopefully food too. The Club has a nice range of food and snacks on offer, all at good prices, so it’s a great chance to relax and make the most of the day. About our backgammon social group Our group has been running for nearly 11 years since June 2015 and we have held nearly 500 official backgammon meetings - along with a further 300 off-grid (non meetups) since then. We are the largest backgammon group in the UK with nearly 2,500 backgammoners as members. What makes our group special are its members and the warmth, humour and friendliness whilst playing this splendid social game over a few drinks... usually fortnightly, and on a Sunday. We have about 30-odd regular members who play socially and we very much welcome new players too - so do come along. Dinner Time and Drinks and Food In between the rounds of backgammon many of us sit for a meal around 6pm, but you can order drinks and food whenever you like. RSVP Please RSVP asap - Often I need to provide the Club with an indication of numbers. Bring your own Backgammon Board - no problem if initially you don't have one. Love seeing the different styles and size of boards - my boards have somehow gotten larger over the years. Please bring your own backgammon board and should you not have one please let us know in advance via the Meetup message board so that others can make the effort to bring theirs. Meetup Fee I will ask for £4 as the meetup fees etc have increased substantially over the past year or two. This also assists paying other admin costs including Club membership and tips. Other Games We sometimes play other games in the evening such as Rummikub, Yahtzee, and a type of Gin Rummy... so ask and watch this space! Etiquette Just a quick reminder- it’s always nice to say thank you to the staff at the CSC when you can. Let’s also keep things warm and friendly with each other and enjoy this splendid game. KING/QUEEN OF THE HILL: 2 to 6 PM

**About Session** **King of the Hill** **4 courts for 4 hours** **£14 per person** Mechanics are as follows: 1. At the beginning of the session, we will randomly designate the King/Queen of the Hill. This will placed on the white board. 2. If the pair wins their game, they remain as King/Queen. If the pair loses, the bands pass to the winning pair and that pair shall now become the reigning King/Queen of the Hill. Each match pairing and score must be written down so we can track the King/Queen of the Hill. 3. The reigning pair must play together until they are defeated or until the end of the session, whichever comes first. If the pair separates, the King/Queen of the Hill will go to a random pair on court that has won their game at that moment. 4. The reigning pair may be challenged by anyone, given a reasonable amount of rest and following the usual "no 360" rules. 5. If one or both of the reigning pair leave before the end of the session, they shall cede the King/Queen of the Hill to their last opponents who are still present. 6. At 45 minutes left in the session, only players that have played at least 2 (or 3 depending size of session) King of the Hill games may challenge the King of the Hill. 7. The pair that is King/Queen of the Hill 10 minutes before the end of the session (5:50PM) will be declared winners of the event. Prize to be announced in the WhatsApp group.
