Come and join Toronto Billiards Club for a Tuesday evening 8-Ball Pool Tournament at Shoxs Billiard Lounge! It also has ghosts. Join me for a **90-minute evening walking tour through Cabbagetown**, where we'll explore some of the neighbourhood's strangest stories, unsettling legends, and darker pieces of Toronto's past. We'll begin beneath the glass of **Allan Gardens**, then make our way through the streets of Cabbagetown, stopping along the way for stories of mysterious creatures, haunted buildings, old prisons, cemeteries, restless spirits, and the people who may never have quite left. This isn't a traditional history walk. It's a **ghost tour** — so expect some history, some local legends, a little mystery, and a few stories that are difficult to explain. The Board Games event is a fun, sociable and charitable event We are a fun, friendly and kind group of people mostly in our 20s, 30s and 40s. Beginners are welcome! We are a very inclusive and social group and we teach people how to play games they have not played before :) We provide a variety of 40+ board games. The games usually take 5 or 10 minutes to learn and 30 to 60 minutes to play. Play in French: On the last Friday of the month, we're offering a table where the games are played in French. Anyone with an intermediate level of French who wants to practice while playing is welcome to join.
