To get your first hands-on experience, you will be playing through the quest 'The Unbroken Vow' designed by myself, GriffinMuffin. The Order of the Crimson Vow, a militant order of renegade paladins plan to sacrifice innocent townsfolk of Ravensbrook in a mysterious ritual. You, the heroes of the kingdom will find a way to enter the monastery and stop them! Are you ready to be a hero? Draw Steel is a two d10 system with the additional use of a d6. You are welcome to bring your own dice or we will have dice available. Other resources such as dry erase maps, markers, pencils and five pre-generated character sheets will be provided.

The shelter that sits above the lighthouse lamp shimmers, its glass prisms and reflective surfaces turning as they always have. In this space, the cartographer expects nothing untoward when they receive an envelope, and in opening it they unveil the latest delivery of phenomena. An Oldfairen coin. But beneath the beacon, a rumbling shakes the structure. A snap -crack- of floorboards and masonry echoes downwards as frames falter. The coin was placed where it shouldn’t have been; its introduction to the precipice of the Flare sent a pulse of energy to the entities seeking it out. Your mission is simple - enter the Fourth Pharos, find the coin and contain the bleed. Just mind the gap. Players will be provided with pre-gen sheets and they would benefit from bringing writing utensils and a notepad.

Hanfu Portrait Lab — Concept-Led Traditional Chinese Studio Shoot

Join us for a creative Hanfu portrait photography session in Melbourne, designed for photographers who enjoy artistic portraiture, traditional Chinese aesthetics, and collaborative image-making. **Participation Fee: approximately $146 per photographer, based on current shared session costs. The current ratio is approximately 2 photographers per Hanfu artist, with limited places available.** This is a **collaborative photography session rather than a commercial project**. The focus is on creative exploration, portfolio development, shared experience and creating strong images together in a relaxed group environment. The session will feature **5-6 models**, each presented through different Hanfu-inspired concepts exploring their own colour palette, mood, styling and visual character. The concepts provide an overall creative direction, while photographers are encouraged to interpret them through their own photographic style. Photographer numbers will be carefully managed to maintain a comfortable 1:2 photographer-to-model ratio, ensuring everyone has reasonable time and space to work collaboratively with the models. The participation fee is based on shared session costs and contributes towards studio hire, model appreciation fees, makeup, clothing and styling, event organisation, and the overall production of the session. Photographers are welcome to bring props, flowers, fabrics or other creative elements if they have a particular visual effect in mind. The session is intended to be collaborative rather than highly scripted, allowing photographers room to experiment with posing, composition, lighting and visual storytelling. Broad creative direction and an overall visual concept will be provided to help maintain a consistent artistic approach throughout the session. This event is suitable for photographers who: • enjoy creative portrait and fashion photography • are interested in Hanfu and traditional Chinese visual aesthetics • want to develop their portrait portfolio • would like to meet and collaborate with models and other photographers • enjoy experimenting with different concepts and creative approaches • are comfortable sharing shooting space and working respectfully within a group environment The focus is on creating beautiful images, exchanging ideas and giving both photographers and models useful portfolio material. Individual photographers may interpret the themes differently, and final images will naturally reflect each photographer’s own photographic style. It’s spooky season! 👻🪦🦇 Last year this event got canceled due to the rain so as promised i’m posting it again this year! Hopefully the weather will be on our side this year ☔️ Grab your art supplies and meet me at the spot i’ve marked on the map 🗺️ (located in the event images) the meeting spot is marked in blue and i’ve marked all the entrance gates in red since they are tricky to find. We will split up and walk around the cemetery taking inspiration from our surroundings for our sketches. Hi all, Welcome to the October Paranormal Book Club!! After book club we head off and become a tourist in our own city, by attending an exhibition or some other cultural activity. For October, we are going to meet at Market Lane Coffee at Queen Vic Market, where we will buy food/coffee and then go find somewhere to chat about books.
