Come Play With Us!
Sat, Aug 8, 6:00 PMHello all! New and veteran gamers are welcomed. We will also be teaching games too! For all participants of our Crit Tako meetups, Wood For Sheep has reduced the **sitting fee to $6 per person** (Thank you WoodForSheep!). Same sitting fee for Flock members. The sitting fee will cover from 1 pm to 11 pm (closing time). We usually play till 7 pm or 8 pm (for a break, grab dinner), depending on the game. But you are welcome to stay after and continue playing. Wood For Sheep has a large collection of games available for the public to play. You can bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks too! I invite you to follow and Subscribe to us in the links below to stay up to date on future events, contests, and videos! Join our Discord server to suggest games to play in the Meetup section. Fun & easy way to play more tennis (please read event description for details)
Tue, Jul 28, 11:00 PMWe’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun! Also, if you’re looking to meet new practice partners or play some matches and you aren’t already in the PlayYourCourt Community, you can go here to see what we’re all about and sign up: https://www.playyourcourt.com/tennis-community/toronto-ON/meetup/ If you love tennis, we’d love to have you! Be sure and watch the quick video that explains how everything works. Happy hitting! - Scott

Annex Urban Plant Walk
Thu, Jul 30, 10:00 PMWe will begin at the Ed and Anne Mirvish Parkette just outside of Bathurst Station. We will wander the streets as we admire the plants in yards, parks, and the in-betweens. The cost for this event will be $10. Bring 1 guest free of charge. Cash or e-transfer to daniellepellatthall@gmail.com can be paid upon arrival at the event. If things change and you can no longer attend, please make sure to change your RSVP to NO at least 2 HOURS before the event starts. Please and thank you. It is not enough to know the names of plants. This group gives you the opportunities to use those words and commit the plants to memory. Bring your plant and tree identification guide if you have one, and if you don't have one, the library is a great place to try some out. Plant ID apps are also welcome; I recommend Plantnet. -Be safe -Treat people with respect -Don't eat things without a firm confidence in their identity -ID trees and plants -Take and post pictures -Repeat (and join the Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/543563029520168/ )
