MACKENZIE - Bell Shakespeare Script and Songs, and Consulting Producer Yve Blake Directed by Virginia Gay Mackenzie is 13 and she’s booked her first-ever TV gig: a tiny part on a huge kids show. It’s a small start, but Mackenzie’s mum has always felt sure that her daughter was destined for superstardom. One day, Mackenzie and her best on-set friend Beau encounter a geriatric make-up artist who is struck with a vision – that Mackenzie will be NUMBER ONE POP GIRL OF THE WORLD. Directed by the electric Virginia Gay, this hilariously macabre play (with songs) charts Mackenzie’s rise to fame fuelled by a cut-throat stage mum who will stop at absolutely nothing. Set in the heights of early 2000s TV stardom, prepare for a wild ride that will leave you in stitches – and deeply disturbed. A hilarious, twisted, and deeply camp reimagining of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. This is a preview event as the tickets were less than half the price of the main season! Please purchase your own tickets via the link below & only then RSVP ATTEND. The show starts at 7pm so I will meet you about 20mins before. I have tickets in A & B & C rows centre block. https://www.bellshakespeare.com.au/mackenzie The membership fee is available via the link below. **W** Written by Madelaine Nunn Directed by Rachel Chant Set inside the high-pressure world of AFLW, ‘W’ tracks an elite women’s football team throughout their season as they push towards finals. At its centre is Rosie, the team’s star captain, navigating leadership, legacy, and the cost of staying at the top. As the team trains, wins, and fractures, personal lives collide with professional expectations. Ambition, motherhood, and media scrutiny sit alongside the raw physicality of the game. Success on the field demands sacrifice off it - and every choice has a consequence. Fast-paced, funny, and emotionally charged, ‘W’ is an intimate and gritty look at women’s sport at a turning point: where bodies are pushed, relationships are tested, and legacy is anything but guaranteed. Please purchase your own tickets via the link below & only then RSVP ATTEND. The show starts at 7.00 pm so I will meet you about half an hour before. I am staying for the late show Alfred Kouris and Harry Stacey Bake a Cake so stay if you can for both! https://www.oldfitztheatre.com.au/w-the-play The membership fee is available via the link below. DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS

DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS

From Theatre Time Sydney

DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS Book by Jeffrey Lane, Music and Lyrics by David Yazbek. Based on the film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels The con is on. Get ready to be seduced, swindled, and swept off your feet — Dirty Rotten Scoundrels hits the Hayes in a glittering new production that’s all charm, chaos, and con artistry at its most delicious. Based on the hit 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin, this Tony-nominated musical comedy follows two cunning conmen — the elegant, ruthless Lawrence Jamieson and the wildly unpredictable Freddy Benson — as they go head-to-head on the French Riviera in a winner-takes-all game of deception. Their target? A sweet, unsuspecting American heiress. But in a world built on lies and reinvention, nothing — and no-one — is quite what they seem. Scoundrels is a riot of farcical foolishness, toe-tapping tunes, and whip-smart satire. Expect bold physical comedy, razor-edged elegance, and performances as dazzling as a Riviera sunset. This fresh Hayes production is a joyous wink to the art of performance itself. Please purchase your own tickets via the link below & ONLY THEN RSVP ATTEND. The group has seats in C row The show starts at 7.30 pm so I will meet you about half an hour before. https://hayestheatre.com.au/event/dirty-rotten-scoundrels/ The membership fee is available via the link below.
