This is a SPECIAL EVENT, to celebrate 100 events and trips 🎉🥳🥙🥤 After two and a half years of day trips ☀️ (and some two-day trips 😜), we’ve reached the 100-event milestone 🎉 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ❤️❤️ We’re meeting at the Tiergarten at 1 PM. Everyone brings whatever food and drinks they like, and we share them while hanging out together 🎉🥳🥙🥤 I don't think we need to bring lots of plastic plates; everyone can bring their own plate and cutlery to help themselves to the shared food 🍽 The exact location 📍 will be shared here in the comments and in the WhatsApp community, but it will likely be in the southwestern part of the park, the one closer to the Tiergarten S-Bahn station. WHATSAPP GROUP 💬 to find each other (join it, we use this group to find and synchronize us) [https://docs.google.com/document/d/157uLVXObKt1a4NqqvPa09NJW-050YBwHLW-7DbOD8R8/](https://docs.google.com/document/d/157uLVXObKt1a4NqqvPa09NJW-050YBwHLW-7DbOD8R8/)

4.6

Hi everyone, Berlin Lingua Hub’s **Afterwork Cultural Picnic** is back, finally!!! Twice a month, we’ll meet at **Monbijou Park** for a relaxed evening of **good conversations, new connections, and cultural exchange**. **What’s the idea?** We keep it simple: **bring your favorite drinks or snacks**, enjoy a laid-back picnic, and connect with people from all over the world. Whether you’re new in Berlin or have been here for years, this is a great way to meet interesting people in a relaxed atmosphere. **What about languages?** This is not a structured Sprachcafé, but since Berlin Lingua Hub is all about languages and cultural exchange, you’ll naturally find people speaking different languages. Feel free to practice, mix languages, or simply enjoy great conversations in any language you’re comfortable with. **When & Where?** 📍 **Monbijou Park** – Meeting point is at the west right corner of the park, alongside the Oranienburger Str. You'll see some Berlin Lingua Hub signs. 🕡 **From 18:00 onwards** – open-end, stay as long as you like Since this is an **outdoor event**, it’s **weather-dependent**. If any changes happen, we’ll update you on the same day. Looking forward to welcoming you all for **a great mix of cultures, languages, and good vibes!** If you're lost, contact Chris! He'll be happy to help you find the place :) **See you soon!** Nacho

How to the find the FOODFACTORY Cube Berlin (Effe&Gold):** Washingtonpl. 3, 10557 Berlin [https://g.page/foodfactorycubeberlin?share](https://g.page/foodfactorycubeberlin?share) This is just our gathering spot this time. From there we go together to Gärten der Welt. **2.) Going to Gärten der Welt:** We'll use public transport to get to this place. If you live in the east, you can join us directly in the garden. **3.) Exploring Gärten der Welt:** We'll first get lost in the maze. Afterwards we explore the Korean Garden and have dinner nearby. Next goals is the Chinese Garden to the see the diversified stage program including traditional dance, music. The grand final is the light show and the fireworks at the stage. Authentic Chinese, Korean and Japanese food will be available at certain food stalls. *Who is this meetup for:* 1\. Asians who want to practice German and/or English\. 2\. German speaking individuals who are studying \(preferably\) Japanese\, Korean\, Mandarin or Cantonese\. 3\. Anyone who is interested in cultural exchange and wants to socialize\. *What you can expect:* 1\. A professionally organized meetup that can adapt to any changes given the current situation\. 2\. A Walk & Talk to break the ice\. 3\. A collaborating venue where you can further socialize with other members\. *** Whenever you attend a meetup, the most common as well as first question you get is: "Where are you from?" You probably heard this question a million times. Well, at least I did. From my own experience of attending over 200 international meetups in various countries such as Germany, Japan, Australia and Thailand, I can tell you that asking for the name is a better approach. “A person’s name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.” - Dale Carnegie If you really want to connect with like-minded people you should remember their name, but you don't have to remember every persons name you've talked you. Be picky about that, don't be me who can somehow remember everyones name easily. Don't tell yourself sth. like "I'm bad at remembering names." It's all about developing the habit of asking for a name and keep the conversation going on. Furthermore, you want to learn German or any other language. Learning the local language is crucial to connect with the locals and developing a true friendship. This can be accomplished with immersion. My goal is to inspire you to go out of your comfort zone and improve yourself each time you join this meetup.
