Teas, Campfires, and Lawn Games

This will be an outside meetup, so dress warmly and bring a blanket or coat if the weather looks chilly. We will have a campfire. Wear shoes you don't mind getting a little dirty. We will be brewing smoky tea, such as Lapsang Souchong and Russian Caravan. Feel free to bring any other brewed tea that you want to share with others and/or any fall themed snacks, such as anything with pumpkin or apple etc. flavors. There will be lawn games set out. Some possibilities are bocce, croquet, badminton, corn toss, volleyball, ladder ball, etc. If it rains, we will move to a different date. This event will be at a private home in Hilliard. The address will be sent out a day or two beforehand.

**Cost**: We do not require a fee to attend the events and The Forgehas graciously reserved us space to mee. We urge everyone to take full advantage of their drink selection and restaurant menu. The Forge has a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. does have a full bar and kitchen. in order to keep the event free, we want to average $20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each and we encourage you to try the mocktails as a level up! Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! **Parking**: We ask all attendees to park in the overflow lot located behind the Mexican restaurant next door unless of course you have mobility needs and need to park in the Forge Lot out front. **Gaming**: The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. **when you arrive**: The Forge staff can direct you to our reserved area and a group event host can help you find a table and get going on something fun! Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. **Prohibited behavior** We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. This includes especially, harassment or disrespectful behavior towards attendees and Forge staff. Grand Illumination Bar Hop!

Kick off the holiday season! We'll meet at PINS to start our lights tour of The Strand and The Yard at Easton (the hip, far north section). Take your eyes to the sky around 7PM and watch as over two-million lights simultaneously illuminate Easton for the season. **WHAT**: We'll hop from PINS to nearby Forbidden Root for eats? Beeline for cocktails? a Coopers Hawk wine tasting? and The Yard for festive fun (last year they hosted Silent Disco)! The Bar Hop will be fluid so groups can walkabout and linger at a spot or move on to another, all surrounding the wonderful contemporary holiday lights at The Yard. **AFTER PARTY**: Those who want to hang around can reserve lanes at PINS or groove at Beeline or sit around giant fire pits. **PARKING**: Best bet are garages on either side of PINS.

Barcelona Wine Dinner and Columbus Museum of Art

An afternoon of great culture, wine and food. First we tour the Columbus Museum of Art, then gather for a splendid wine dinner at Barcelona. See the pics from our previous Barcelona events. Information is preliminary at this time and will update ASAP. This is an expensive event to put on; **and I will collect the fee for the wine in advance, approximately $45.** Payment will by Venmo or arrangement with me. You will initially be put on the wait list until payment is arranged. We'll meet inside the CMofA at 3pm. Please be prompt. Tour together or in small groups and enjoy as much of the museum until closing at 5pm. Then, we'll depart for Barcelona Restaurant. 263 East Whittier Street German Village, Columbus, OH 43206. Parking is miserable. Dinner will be individually selected (and paid) but there will be an approximately $45 surcharge for the wine. I will have five selections, approximate of mid-priced to higher Spanish wines so that the quality will be better than the wines-by-the-glass selections. I'll have Cava to start, then a white, a lighter reds such grancha, a medium body red, and at least one, big complex red with bottle age.
