On this varied circular hike, we’ll explore a chain of elongated lakes in the Behrensdorfer Heide. The quiet and, at times, very secluded trail follows the wooded shores of Lake Springsee and Lake Großer Glubigsee, for much of the route, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Along the way, we’ll also pass through an interesting wet woodland area, a valuable ecosystem that plays an important role in climate protection and nature conservation. And if the weather is on our side, the many lakeside bathing spots invite us to enjoy a refreshing swim or simply relax by the water. As there are no guaranteed places to stop for food or drinks along the route, please bring enough food and water for the day. Since we’ll be walking through woodland and wetland areas, it’s also a good idea to bring an effective insect repellent. **What’s Village Outdoor?** Village outdoor Events are monthly meetups for the we are village community and their friends to enjoy outdoor activities in and around Berlin. Activities include forest hikes, bike tours, swimming in lakes, sightseeing, and kayaking. Auf einer abwechslungsreichen Rundwanderung entdecken wir die langgezogene Seenkette an der Behrendorfer Heide. Der stille und teilweise sehr abgelegene Wanderweg führt größtenteils entlang der bewaldeten Ufer des Springsees und des Großen Glubigsees und eröffnet immer wieder schöne Blicke auf die Natur. Unterwegs passieren wir außerdem ein interessantes Bruchwaldgebiet, das als wertvolles Ökosystem eine wichtige Rolle für den Klima- und Naturschutz spielt. Und wenn das Wetter mitspielt, laden die zahlreichen Badestellen unterwegs zu einer erfrischenden Abkühlung oder einer entspannten Pause ein. Da unterwegs keine Einkehrmöglichkeiten garantiert sind, denkt bitte an ausreichend Proviant und Getränke. That’s the Zugspitze, and mid-June is the time to experience it. The snow has been nearly melted and the alpine meadows are bursting with wildflowers. Here’s the thing—this hike isn’t something just anyone can do. All the spots at the iconic **Knorr Hut** have been booked solid for months, but I’ve got us covered. I secured these places well in advance so that you can enjoy this incredible route at the best possible time! **WHAT IS THE PLAN?** * **Day 0 - Meet & Greet:** Relaxed day – we all meet at the hotel in the evening, having late evening dinner, preparing ourselves for next day’s adventures. * **Day 1 (Distance – 20 km)** – Today post breakfast, we would start our journey to hut. The hike itself would go through the Reintal valley. During the hike we would pass the impressive Partnachklamm gorge, the secluded Reintal valley, the Reintalangerhütte and at the evening would approach Knorrhütte. It is possible to have a nice lunch there, at their restaurant, So, you do not need to carry on food with you. During the day we would gain around 1400 meters. * **Day 2 (Hike distance <10 km)** – After the early breakfast at the hut, we would start our hike to summit. Although it is quite short, we would gain another 870 meters to reach the summit at around mid-day. After relaxing at the top and enjoying the pristine beauty of the majestic and mighty mountains, we will use the cable car to go down to the city. Picnic in the Park III (Treptower)

Let’s get together for an informal picnic on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Once again at Treptower Park! Bring yourself, any food and beverages you like and, if you have one, a blanket and let‘s chat away. Note that grills are not allowed at Treptower Park!
