COREE Central Ohio Chapter Meeting Your Foreclosure Deal Machine

COREE Central Ohio Chapter Meeting Your Foreclosure Deal Machine

Tue, Aug 4, 9:00 PM
From COREE Community of Real Estate Entrepreneurs
4.7

**[Note: Registering here on Meetup does NOT reserve your seat. To do that, you need to go to our website, [HERE](https://www.coreerocks.com/Events.aspx?ID=Columbus-Chapter-Meeting-Your-Foreclosure-Deal-Machine-14-8-4-2026).]** We’re the Columbus area’s biggest and longest-running real estate community for a reason: month after month, since 2011, we’ve been connecting you to the people and information you need start or grow your own real estate investing business. This month, we’re doing that by focusing on one of the hottest opportunities in the market today: foreclosures. Most investors think foreclosure opportunities begin at the sheriff's sale. The truth is, most of the best deals are long gone by then. Investors who consistently buy profitable properties understand something many others don't: the foreclosure process creates opportunities long before the auction ever happens. If you know where homeowners are in the process—and how to approach them—you can help solve their problems while building a stronger investing business. That matters more than ever today. With more homeowners struggling under higher payments and rising living costs, the number of distressed sellers is growing. The investors who understand this market will have more opportunities than those waiting for bank-owned properties to hit the MLS. At this month's meeting, we'll show you how to find those opportunities, and what to do with them once you’ll find them You’ll get practical advice about: * How the foreclosure process in Ohio even works, and where you can jump in as an investor, and how * Finding motivated sellers before the competition * Approaching homeowners with confidence and compassion * Overcoming common objections * Building a steady pipeline of foreclosure opportunities Whether you're looking for your first deal or your next fifty, you'll leave with practical ideas you can begin putting to work immediately. And don't overlook one of the biggest benefits of every COREE meeting: the other people in the room. Your next lender, buyer, contractor, mentor, or business partner could be sitting at your table. **[Again, registering here on Meetup does NOT reserve your seat. To do that, you need to go to our website, [HERE](https://www.coreerocks.com/Events.aspx?ID=Columbus-Chapter-Meeting-Your-Foreclosure-Deal-Machine-14-8-4-2026).]**

How to Build a 6-Figure Real Estate Business Helping Sellers in Foreclosure

How to Build a 6-Figure Real Estate Business Helping Sellers in Foreclosure

Sat, Aug 15, 1:00 PM
From The Real Estate Investors Association of Greater Cincinnati
4.6

**[Note: Registering here on Meetup does NOT reserve your seat. To reserve your seat, please register on our website, [HERE](https://www.cincinnatireia.com/Events.aspx?ID=IN-COLUMBUS-How-to-Build-a-6-Figure-Real-Estate-Business-Helping-Sellers-in-Foreclosure-49-8-15-2026).]** Most investors think foreclosure opportunities begin at the auction. The truth is, by then, many of the best opportunities have already passed. The real opportunity is in **pre-foreclosure**, when homeowners still have options, investors can actually see the property before buying it, and everyone has a chance to create a solution that benefits both the seller and the investor. And that’s becoming more important than ever. As more homeowners struggle with rising housing costs and financial pressure, investors who understand pre-foreclosures will have opportunities that simply aren’t available once a property reaches the auction or becomes bank-owned. But succeeding in pre-foreclosures takes more than sending postcards or making offers. You need to understand what homeowners are experiencing, how to communicate with them, and how to structure deals that truly solve their problems. That’s exactly what Dwan & Bill Twyford will teach during this intensive two-day workshop. With more than **80 years of combined real estate investing experience**, they’ve built successful businesses by helping homeowners in pre-foreclosure while creating profitable deals through subject-to investing, short sales, creative financing, and other proven strategies. **During this two-day workshop, you’ll learn:** • How to successfully market to homeowners in pre-foreclosure • What to say when you first talk with sellers—including real-world conversation scripts • Strategies for working with sellers who have substantial equity • How to negotiate profitable short sales when little or no equity exists • Subject-To investing and other creative financing techniques • Multiple exit strategies for pre-foreclosure deals • How to build a business that consistently generates leads instead of constantly chasing them Whether you’re buying your first investment property or building a full-time investing business, you’ll leave with practical systems and strategies you can begin using immediately. 📅 **August 15–16, 2026** 📍**Attend in person in Columbus, Ohio** — Register **[HERE](https://www.cincinnatireia.com/Events.aspx?ID=IN-COLUMBUS-How-to-Build-a-6-Figure-Real-Estate-Business-Helping-Sellers-in-Foreclosure-49-8-15-2026)** 💻 **Attend virtually from anywhere** — Register **[HERE](https://www.cincinnatireia.com/Events.aspx?ID=Online-Meeting-How-to-Build-a-6-Figure-Real-Estate-Business-Helping-Sellers-in-Foreclosure-49-8-15-2026)** One of the biggest benefits of attending in person isn’t just the education—it’s the people you’ll meet. Your next lender, buyer, contractor, mentor, private lender, or business partner could be sitting in the room with you. **Express Success members attend FREE with their member coupon code.** **[Again, registering here on Meetup does NOT reserve your seat. COhPy Monthly Meeting

COhPy Monthly Meeting

Mon, Jul 27, 10:00 PM
From The Central Ohio Python Users Group
4.8

**Improving Office in Franklinton** Physical location: Improving Office 330 Rush Alley Suite #150 Columbus, OH 43215 Schedule: 6:00 p.m.: Socialize, eat, and drink. Improving will be providing pizza and beverages. 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Main meeting and presentation(s). Topic: In this session, we will explore the concept of hyperdimensional computing (HDC), a brain-inspired method of computing. We'll begin by talking about neurons and the brain. Through simple Python examples we’ll dive into HDC and answer: What it is? How does it work? And, how does it learn? We will review how other researchers have applied HDC and demonstrate how it can be used for solving cybersecurity tasks. Where deep learning fails, HDC excels. No supercomputer? No problem. HDC offers interpretability, low energy requirements, robustness to errors, online learning, on-device learning, and more. By pushing the difficult calculations into the embedding process, learning becomes a cinch. By the end of this talk, attendees will have everything they need to teach their own hyperdimensional computing models. We meet on the last Monday of each Month. Presentations are given by members and friends of this group. If you would like to do a presentation (small or large) on a python topic, please contact Central OH Python at centralohpython@gmail.com
