We built frameworks, refined processes, ran retrospectives, and shipped faster. And something still isn't working. Because methods can only take you so far. At some point, the constraint isn't the process. It's the person running it. In conversations with leaders across four countries, the same patterns emerged regardless of methodology, team size, or industry. Urgency replacing discernment. People going through the motions without authorship. Teams delivering but not believing their voice changes anything. Leaders protecting their people from above while quietly wondering if any of it is worth it. These aren't process problems. They're human ones. Virginia Satir spent her life asking what it means to be more fully human — and her answers turn out to be exactly what agile practitioners need next. Not better tools. Not more frameworks. The inner capacity to lead well in complexity, uncertainty, and change. It is taught as a series of dynamic processes (7 standing, 8 squatting, 5 sitting, and 7 lying down) to invigorate the body and reach peak physical and mental health.
