It was home to the Established Gentry who built large mansions and looked after big estates. First Nations and the bushrangers lived near lagoons while farmers brought produce to the city along the road to the market. Today we'll learn of St Kilda Road's colourful background and a few of its side streets as we wander to the St Kilda Junction. **After Our Walk** \- we will go to a cafe at the St Kilda Junction before heading home\. **How To Get There:** Trams - from the city or St Kilda Road Trains - either Metro trains or a short walk over the Princes Bridge to the arts center Cars - our walk ends at a cafe near the St Kilda Junction so if you park your car there and get a tram to our start point
