ABOUT THE FILM-MAKER Oleksandr Stoianov is a Ukrainian contemporary artist and independent filmmaker born on 19 July 1985 in Sevastopol, Crimea. Working primarily with photography, video, and found footage, he creates experimental films and visual projects that interrogate totalitarian regimes, propaganda, repression, and war.
