Welcome to Respawn’s TCG Tournament edition Event! 🛡️ Respawn is going to be doing a monthly Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament. Goat Format is a highly popular, community-driven legacy format in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game that freezes the game in the summer of 2005, specifically utilizing the rules, card pool, and April 2005 Forbidden and Limited list. The format serves as a time capsule for the end of the classic Duel Monsters era and the dawn of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. The cutoff point is traditionally fixed just before the August 2005 release of the Cybernetic Revolution expansion, meaning modern foundational cards like Cyber Dragon do not exist. Decklist reference: https://img.yugioh-card.com/en/downloads/forms/KDE_DeckList.pdf What happens if you don't have any Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards? Proxies will be printed out for you guys before the tournament.
