We are a friendly bunch of locals. Some of us are new to board games, whilst others have a few years experience of playing and teaching our games. We always try to make newcomers feel welcome… come and check us out! Wednesday nights start off with a mix of quick, lightweight fun stuff as people arrive. Then we move onto playing a wide range of games to suit the tastes of whoever shows up on the night. We often revert back to lighter games before we head home. We usually have around 12 to 24 people turn up, so don’t believe the attendance numbers you see on here… We have a lovely WhatsApp community that you can join when you attend this event. Hi everyone! (pre-pandemic information) If you like to play modern board, card and dice games, and to meet new people, then join us on Monday evenings from 6pm until the pub closes around 11pm. Feel free to bring your own games if you have them, but don't worry if you don't as regular members will bring some along. And of course, we'll teach you how to play them if you don't know already. You work late? No worries - you can join us any time before closing (11pm), so if you don't arrive at 6pm (attendees tend to arrive around 6:30 or 7pm), don't worry :-) Everyone comes and goes when they like, so it is possible that you may be the first to arrive or the last to leave, Please write in the comments what time you expect to arrive at the pub, so we can try to avoid anyone having to wait alone for long. We are a relaxed and friendly group, made up of both natives and foreigners, of locals and those living further afield, happy to welcome newbies and regulars. Events are free to attend, but it is respectable to the public venues we hold them at if you can buy at least one drink or some food while you are present, just like anyone else at the pub would do. If you would like to contribute towards the costs of running of this group, feel free to buy the host(s) a drink of their choice when you see them, for which they'd be very grateful. Kingston Board Game Night returns on Thursday, November the 5th from 6.30-10.30pm and it's FREE! Join us by the river at WeBrew for an evening of fun, strategy and awesome people. This is a board game night for everyone with over 100 games to choose from for all gaming abilities From party games with a group to heavy strategy for two and everything in between we have you covered. It''s free to play as many games as you like and there are hosts to make recommendations and show you how to play. No need to book, just come and grab a table and let the games begin. Hi everyone! If you like to play modern tabletop (board, card, dice, tile and dexterity) games, and you enjoy meeting new people, then join us in the evenings from around 7pm until the venue closes. Feel free to bring your own games if you have them, but don't worry if you don't, as regular members will have some of theirs. And of course, we'll teach you how to play them if you don't know already. You work late? No worries - you can join us any time during the evening, so if you can't arrive at 7pm, don't worry, just let us know your ETA. Everyone is free to come and go when they like, so it is possible that you may be the first to arrive or the last to leave. If there are lots of us, we may split into groups to play different games. People who usually attend are a relaxed and friendly bunch, made up of both UK natives and foreigners, who may be locals or live further away, who are happy to welcome newbies and regulars.
