We mostly play **mid to heavyweight Euro & strategy games ike** Hansa Teutonica, Concordia, Keyflower, Great Western Trail, Clank, Root, Scythe, Terraforming Mars... We do also play some lighter party and filler games, but they are not the main focus. Bullying or bad-mouthing other attendees will also not be tolerated. The last Friday of each month, we host a happy hour! Sunday Night Board Games in Brooklyn

Join us on Sundays for board games at Squarrel Cafe (572 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, New York) right by the Barclay's Center off the Atlantic Avenue 2/3/4/5/B/D/N/Q/R stop. Large tables in a big space with a private overflow room available too. Bring a game or join in on one. A wide variety of games will be available - from lightweight and shorter games to heavy games with long play times. Hope to see you there! Social Chess

This is a social chess meetup. Even if you don’t know how to play or are an absolute beginner you are welcome to come socialize and maybe even get a lesson. I will be teaching free lessons, just ask me when you are there and if there is time I will give you a lesson.. I will provide 5 chess sets & clocks enough for 10 players. But I do ask that if you can please bring a set (& clock if you have it). Thank you.

Learn and Play Spades Gayme Night

♠️ Queer Side Quests: Free Spades Gayme Night Happy hour from 6pm-9pm! No experience necessary! We’ll start the night by teaching everyone how to play Spades before breaking into games! Spades is a card game with deep roots in Black culture and has been bringing people together for generations. This event is open to queer folks of all ethnicities. The goal is to honor the history of the game while creating a fun, welcoming space where people can connect over a few hands of cards. RSVP to reserve your spot. Chouette or Match Backgammon Tournament at the Manhattan Games Center

Join us for a **Chouette or Match Night** of Backgammon. 3 - 4 Player chouette game. Opening at 7:00pm & Chouette/Match play starts at 7:30pm. **\- RSVP \-** to be included in a 2 Hour Chouette or 7 Point Match Tourney. 1st & 2nd Place Prizes The Chouette's Last Game is 9:30pm - so it is a timed event On Tuesdays at Backgammon New York City BGNYC we are back to serving light snacks, wine, beer, tea, and coffee. TOPSPIN - The NYC Ping Pong Meetup Group

Welcome to the revival of the Fat Cat Meetup group! We are now called TOPSPIN and our new home is SPIN. It’s just $15 to play for 3 hours! All levels are welcomed! From beginners to experts - you’ll be able to find good matches with us. There are drink and food specials so come hungry and thirsty! Paddles can be borrowed from SPIN at no additional cost. You must begin the match immediately when you approach the table. This will give everyone more match time in the end. Warmups within the 1st 30 min of the Meetup cannot exceed 2 minutes. •You can only be signed up on one table at a time. No Exceptions! If you notice that another player is signed up on multiple tables you have permission to cross them off but please, kindly remind them of the rule. •2 win maximum. After 2 match wins you must leave the table and sign up again. •Please don’t be offended if a fellow player reminds you of these rules. The rules are in place to maximize play for everyone

Games we play: party, social deduction, strategy, euro. There's usually plenty of games around, but feel free to bring your own. It's very important to support our hosts in opening up their place for us. We ask you to purchase a beverage from them. They have a great drink selection to choose from. Great food options in the area and that we're allowed to bring in! If you arrive late and games have already begun, the wait for a new game shouldn't be long.
