Join us for our new summer series for 2026 - BOARDGAME FRIDAY! This is a great place to meet new people, make new friends and play some fun games. Come with a group or by yourself! There will be games like Catan, Avalon, Ticket to Ride, Uno, Monopoly, Cards Against Humanity and more! **The restaurant, Aifam, will be giving out a free alcoholic drink of your choice (Wine or Beer) with the purchase of each sandwich!** Address: 102 Harbord St, Toronto, ON M5S 1G6 **This event has an entry fee of $15 to be paid via cash or tap. If you purchase any food at the venue the entry fee reduces to $12.5!** **Looking forward to hosting this!** 1. Can I bring my own games? Yes, of course! You can ask around and form your own groups and play whatever games you'd like to! 2. How do I pay? You can pay via either cash or tap (if you tap there will be a $.30 additional charge). 3. Are there any offers or discounts on the food? If you purchase any food or beverages, the entry fee reduces to $12.5. Sunday Meeple & Gaymes

This is an opportunity to meet up for some LGBTQ2IA-flavoured gaming and socializing—allies also welcome. Come for the gaming, socializing, not to mention One Star's Hot Dog menu! :) Be sure to invite friends and such, too. Although Fred, your amiable host, starts the event at 3pm, feel free to drop in early as One Star opens at 2pm! You'll have access to a robust library of board games, and attendees are welcome to bring their own games. There is no event fee. Instead we ask attendees to purchase beverages or food from the venue since they are offering us their space for free. We provide nametag stickers with a pronoun field; we want this to be a comfortable environment for everyone, kindly respect people's listed or stated pronouns. If you are unsure of someone's pronouns, don't assume: Ask, Respect and Practice Definitely ask before taking pictures/videos. One Star is NOT an accessible space as the washrooms are down stairs. Queer Gayme Dive

We’ll be in the larger area towards the back. Event officially runs from 4pm to 7pm, at which point we start to pack away the games, clearing up before the band takes the stage (9:30-10pm). You'll have access to a robust library of board games, and attendees are welcome to bring their own games. There is no event fee. Instead we ask attendees to purchase beverages from the venue, Penny's Bar, conveniently located beside Lansdowne subway station at 1306 Bloor St. West. Of course, since they are offering us their space for free, please consider buying a drink if you can--possibly from our \*custom menu\*! Hi everyone: The Markham/Richmond Hill Group invites you to join us for another drop-in board gaming event. We play a large variety of games ranging from lighter casual to heavier strategy. This event is open to both new and seasoned players. Note that to support the establishment, everyone is expected to order at least one item (it's a drink/dessert place) :) We also host other board gaming events and socials (such as Escape Rooms, Tennis, Hiking, etc) not posted on Meetup. We'll play in the food court of North York Centre. This is a public space so there is no cost, but please be kind to other people in the area. Board Game Night!!!!

Hello Meeples!!!! I host board game night every Thursday at Face to Face Games, located at 1398 Danforth Ave (about a 3 min walk from Greenwood station, or a 7 min walk from Coxwell station)! How it works I’ll be seated at the table at the very back right-hand corner of Face to Face Games (near the washrooms). We usually have 2 tables reserved for our group. (If you can’t find us, ask one of the staff members.) I’ll bring a variety of games from my own collection to board game night, but attendees are free to bring any of their own games as well! Got a brand new game you’ve been dying to play but never have enough players? Bring it along! Got a retro game that you think is a hidden gem? Bring it along and spread the joy! I usually come early at around 4:30pm. If there are other attendees who also arrive early, then we can play some shorter games until 6pm. Six o’clock is when the event officially starts and is when most attendees start trickling in. Once we have most people assembled, we collectively decide which games we want to play and split into groups accordingly. We usually have one group tackling a heavy board game (ie. a game that tends to be more complex and takes longer to finish) while the others play short to medium-length games, but this is very flexible and will depend on turnout and the kinds of games people bring. If you can only get here later or if you arrive late, don’t fret. We’ll see what game you can join so that you can get playing as soon as possible! Rules of the Tables: We are a cool and relaxed group - we swear! But to ensure things run smoothly and that everyone is having fun, we do some some rules we would like attendees to follow: \- Please be respectful of people’s games and property\. For example\, if you’re having a snack \(please share\!\)\, make sure your fingers are clean before you handle cards\, mats\, meeples\, and the like\. People are generous to bring their games to board game night\, so we want to be mindful not to damage or dirty their stuff\. \- Please be mindful of your cellphone usage during the game\. Of course this doesn’t mean you can’t use your cellphone to shoot a quick text message or to check something quickly \- we’re not monsters\! However\, if you’re always focused on your cellphone \(for example\, watching a video or playing a cellphone game\) and are not paying attention to the rules being explained\, or you constantly need the other players to repeat themselves as to what sick moves they just made\, then it ends up taking away from everyone’s enjoyment of the game\. \- Please be decent\, in dress and in conduct\. No bullying\, excessive swearing\, racist or sexist language\, and all the other bad stuff\.
