*** Looking for someone to build your startup with? This is the very first **Find a Cofounder** meetup â a simple gathering of builders who are actively looking for the right partner. No panels. No pitches. No forced speed dating. Just founders, aspiring cofounders, developers, product minds, and operators in the same room â intentionally. \*\*\* \#\# Who This Is For * You have an idea and need the right partner * Youâre technical and want a business counterpart * Youâre business/product-oriented and want a technical cofounder * Youâre serious about building in the next months If you're just casually browsing or ânetworking,â this probably isnât for you. \*\*\* \#\# What Weâll Do Weâll likely start with short introductions so everyone knows: * Who you are * What youâre building (or want to build) * What kind of cofounder youâre looking for From there, weâll let conversations happen naturally â but intentionally. Depending on the group size and energy, we may: * Keep it open and fluid * Try small rotating conversations * Or experiment with lightweight matching ideas This first meetup is about testing, learning, and building the right format together. \*\*\* Finding a cofounder shouldnât be random. Letâs see what happens when the right people are in the same room. A couple of quick things to help us organize: âą If you can no longer attend, please **remove your RSVP on Meetup** so we have a more accurate estimate. âą If youâre planning to **bring a friend**, it would be great if they could **RSVP on Meetup as well**, so we can better anticipate the number of people. đ **Location: TBD** Help make this event more relevant to your search for a cofounder by filling this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfgY38XnzrTZVWH52DCn7O456gmhCeEmBNEuLStNImtNItkXA/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=100168643146130712392 Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Fini les distractions! | Focus & Finish Paris
We all need time to rest.** > But to rest well, we also need time to work with real focus. * Do you have things you need to do but keep putting them off whenever you are alone? * Do you want to work on a personal project after work or during the weekend, but find yourself losing focus or motivation as soon as you try to begin? * Perhaps you have a business idea, side project, course, video to edit, text to write, design to complete, code to build, or portfolio to prepareâbut no matter how often you tell yourself you should work on it, you struggle to make progress alone. This meetup was created for people in that situation. *I am one of those people too.* When I work alone, I am easily distracted and often spend more time planning than actually producing results. That is why I decided to create a space where we can work alongside one another, stay focused, and make concrete progress within a set period of time. *** ## đĄ **Our Purpose** The concept is simple: > **Bring something you need to work on, focus alongside others, and leave the meetup with real progress.** Your profession or field does not matter. You can bring any task that requires concentration, including: * đŒ A personal business or side project * đ Studying or exam preparation * đŹ Video editing and content creation * âïž Writing and translation * đš Design and portfolio development * đ» Programming and coding * đ Job applications and rĂ©sumĂ© writing * â Administrative tasks and personal projects Beginners are very welcome. It is completely fine if your project is not yet perfectly structured or if you are still trying to decide where to begin. The important thing is not to arrive perfectly prepared. > đ **Bring something you need to do and actually start working on it.** *** ## đ€« **This Is Not Primarily a Networking or Discussion Meetup** Meeting people, exchanging ideas, and gaining new insights can be valuable. However, the main purpose of this meetup is not conversationâit is: > đŻ **Focus and execution.** During the focus sessions, we work quietly on our own tasks without talking. Progress updates and brief conversations take place only during the scheduled breaks. Free conversation and networking are welcome after the official focus session has ended. *** ## 𧩠**How It Works** * đ Decide in advance what you want to work on and bring everything you need. * đŻ At the beginning, state the concrete result you would like to achieve that day. * đ€« During the scheduled focus periods, work quietly without conversation. * â During the breaks, briefly share your progress and any difficulties. * â At the end, share what you completed or moved forward. *** ## â±ïž **Standard Session Format** * **10 minutes:** đ Introductions and declaration of todayâs intended result * **50 minutes:** đ„ Focused work * **10 minutes:** â Break and progress check-in * **50 minutes:** đ„ Focused work * **10 minutes:** â Break * **50 minutes:** đ„ Focused work * **15 minutes:** â Results, reflection, and next steps * **After the official session:** đŹ Optional conversation and networking The exact schedule and length of the focus periods may vary slightly depending on the venue and circumstances. Simply having other focused people around can make it much easier to begin, continue, and finish your work. As the community grows, participants from different backgrounds may also exchange useful insights, ideas, and brief feedback. However, the main purpose will always be: > **Execution rather than conversation.** *** ## đ **What Should You Bring?** This is not a lecture. It is time for you to work directly on your own tasks. Please bring everything you need, such as: * đ» A laptop and charger * đ± A tablet * đ Books and study materials * đ A notebook and writing materials * đ§ Earphones or headphones * đ Any files and resources required for your work *** ## đȘ **Arriving Late or Leaving Early Is Okay** The time displayed on Meetup indicates the official structured focus session. You may leave before the end if you have another commitment. You are also welcome to stay and continue working after the official session, as long as the venue remains open and available. When arriving or leaving during a focus period, please settle in or pack your belongings quietly so that you do not disturb the other participants. *** ## đ„ **You Can Form a Small Group with People in Your Field** If several participants work in the same field or are developing similar projects, they may form a smaller group. Examples include: * đŹ Content and video production * đš Design * đ» Development and coding * đ Studying and exam preparation * đŒ Business and side projects * đ Job searching and portfolio development You are not required to explain your work in detail to the entire meetup. When useful, you may share your goals, progress, difficulties, and feedback only with people working in a related field. *** # đ§ **Thursday Learn & Apply Day** ## **Turn Saved Information into Action** We often save useful videos, posts, courses, tutorials, and other resources without ever taking the time to organise, practise, or apply them. On Thursdays, we may hold a special **Learn & Apply Day** alongside our regular focus sessions. The goal is not to collect even more information. It is to choose something you have already saved, practise it, andâwhen possibleâapply it to a current project. ### đ ïž How It Works * đïž Organise the videos, posts, courses, or resources you have saved. * đŻ Choose something you would like to practise or apply to a current project. * đ§Ș Practise the selected method, skill, or technique. * đŹ Share your progress and any difficulties during the practice stage. * đ If relevant, apply what you practised to your current project. This step is optional. * đ Share your progress and difficulties again during the application stage. * â At the end, share the overall result created through the practice and application process. > This is not a day for saving more information. > **It is a day for turning saved knowledge into practice and concrete results.** *** ## â€ïž In-Person Meetups in Paris While I am staying in France, I plan to begin working on weekdays from **12:00 p.m. Paris time**. This is approximately **7:00 or 8:00 p.m. in Seoul**, depending on the season. The Paris sessions will mainly take place in libraries. Because it may not be possible to talk freely inside a library, goals and progress updates will be shared through Discord. Participants in Paris and people joining online from Seoul on weekday evenings can briefly post: * đŻ Their goal for the current focus period * â What they have completed so far * 𧩠Any difficulties they are experiencing * âĄïž What they plan to do during the next focus period * đ The final result they produced *** ## đ€ **Online Coworking Between Seoul and Paris** You can also participate online through Discord. When I begin working in Paris at noon, participants in Seoul can join at approximately **7:00 or 8:00 p.m.**, depending on the time difference. Online participants can enter a Discord voice channel and work at the same time as the other members. * đ· Cameras are not required. * đ„ïž Screen sharing is optional. * đïž You do not need to keep your microphone on. * đ€« You can work quietly in your own space while focusing alongside the group. The goal is to connect people in Seoul and Paris, both online and offline, so that we can follow one anotherâs progress and stay motivated together. *** ## đïž **Participation Fee** The meetup is currently **free**. *** ## đ **This Meetup May Be for You If You:** * Easily lose focus when working alone * Keep postponing tasks you need to complete * Want to develop a personal project after work or during the weekend * Are preparing a business or side project by yourself * Need a focused environment for studying, editing, writing, designing, or coding * Want to produce real results rather than only talk about ideas * Are a beginner and find it difficult to start alone * Want to put saved information into practice * Want to work alongside people in Seoul and Paris *** ## đ **Before Joining, Please Remember** You do not need to present something impressive or produce a major result. Small progress is still progress. For example: * âïž Writing one paragraph of a document * đŹ Editing 30 seconds of a video * đ§ Sending one email * đ» Fixing one coding error * â Organising your task list If you finally begin something you would otherwise have postponed, that is already a meaningful result. > đ **Bring something you need to do.** > **Letâs focus together and take one real step forward.**
