**Game Day Returns at La Diaspora** Game Day, a community favorite since 2008, is officially back after its hiatus and we’re celebrating its return at **La Diaspora**. Enjoy **all‑day happy hour**, a **full food and drink menu**, and a fun, social atmosphere built for game lovers. Please note: **a card is required for all tabs**, and **tax & gratuity will be added**. Each attendee will have a **minimum spend of $20**. We’ll have multiple tables reserved for card players Spades **and Bid Whist players, represent!** plus a selection of board games for anyone who wants to jump in and play. **Transportation:** 6, J, Z, N, Q, R, W-Canal Street 4, 5, -Brooklyn Bridge \*Street parking is limited, there is a garage right next door Game Day is back. LGBTQ Gayme Night - in person - Queens

An in person event in Queens at the new location of the Queens LGBT Center. 35-11 35th Avenue, in the Astoria section. Directions are below. Online info at www.lgbtnetwork.org We'll have some fun and play games. So let's do this in person, like we used to before Covid. Masks are optional. Directions - nearest stop is Steinway Street on the M and R trains. From out of Queens, get out at the rear exit at the back of the train. From in Queens, get out at the front exit. When you reach the street, walk straight ahead, don't turn. Go to 35th Avenue and turn right. You will pass several places to eat, including Subway, Panera Bread and Applebees. Go a couple of blocks further. Look for the LGBT network signs across the street from the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. Enter and see the receptionist. You will check in with your cell phone. You can also take the N or W trains to 36th Avenue. Walk from there to 35th Ave and turn right. It's about four blocks, give or take. If you RSVP and discover you cannot attend, change your RSVP to NO. There will be snacks and beverages available. Space is limited. Join us. You'll have a gay old time. There will be others in attendance who did not RSVP for this.

Come join us for a night of 5/5 No-Limit Hold'em in Jersey City. We're building a regular community of poker players from Jersey City, Hoboken, NYC, and the surrounding area who enjoy competitive games in a relaxed, social environment. 🃏 **Game:** 5/5 No-Limit Hold'em 📍 **Location:** Downtown Jersey City 👥 **Players:** Experienced and recreational players welcome 🏠 **Setting:** Private home game The goal is to build a solid group of regular players—not just a one-time game. NYCYDC - Monthly Competitive Swiss Tournament

Duelists, prepare for battle! NYCYDC presents its own monthly competitive Swiss tournament to give members a feel of what it’s like to partake in locals, Regionals and even YCS! These tournaments are far from casual as duelists will bring their very best and strongest decks to compete. A test of skills and wit, expect a tough competition. These monthly tournaments will follow advanced format rules such as 50 minute matches and double loss time rules. Official tournament start time will be 3:30pm. Arrive early to prepare! Rules: 1. As per tournament rules, you must play 1 deck from start to finish. Switching decks will result in a penalty such as a game loss. Failure to comply will result in a disqualification from the tournament. 2. Arrive on time and be ready for your match! If you are not present for the first 5 minutes of your match you will receive a game loss. After 10 minutes you will receive a match loss. Time is sacred! 3. Sportsmanship and respect is mandatory. If we receive complaints of disrespect and misconduct you will receive a warning. A second offense will result in a disqualification. 4. There will be judge(s) present. Any conflict at during a match or question must be resolved with a judge. 5. Double loss will be applied. If a match winner has not been decided and declared by the end of the timer, both players will receive a double loss. 6. Slow play of any kind will not be tolerated. If you believe your opponent is slow playing, don’t hesitate! Call the judge! A judge will deal with the matter at hand. 7. Focus on your match! No devices should be present unless it’s to count LP! Don’t distract other duelists from their match as well. 8. No backseat dueling or request for assistance! Learn your deck and play on your own! If we catch you asking for advice you will receive a warning. The most important rule of any tournament is to have fun! IMPORTANT: Respect your RSVP! You must RSVP in order to participate. If you show up you’re expected to participate as a player.

Tuesday Boardgame Meetup!

Looking to have a weekly or bi-weekly boardgame meetup on Tuesdays! We plan to meet at Sip & Play, a boardgame cafe in Park Slope. There’s plenty of space and games and you can also bring your own games. Excited to meet new friends and play some fun games! Entrance is $10, paid to Sip for unlimited gaming for the night. Weekday Board Games at QED Astoria!

Break out the board games and bring your friends to play anything you like. The event runs until roughly 10 and we'll be located in the front half of QED. We'll have games to play, but you're welcome to bring your own group and games if you'd like! Free admission with $5 or more purchase from QED. No outside food or drinks are allowed. Snacks are in stock, and QED has beer & wine all day.

This is where we tend to stay longer & play more games than our weekly get-together. The next one will be on Saturday September 26, 2026. Join us for our awesome Weekend Boardgaming Meetup at Cobblestone's pub! We start around noon & usually stay until the early evening. We're a friendly group of gamers that play everything from Codenames & Ticket to Ride to Blood Rage & Agricola! Everyone is welcome - all ages (must be over 21) but must be young at heart!
