Just come along and join a random bunch of strangers for a walk in the city. As this is a test run, we'll go by the flow after meeting at 300 Flinders St. Please arrive on time at the location as we may move from the start. As it's a short event, latecomers are not entertained. I will update the live location in the comments at 12.20 pm We may move/walk 10 mins after the beginning of the event. Follow us with the live location that I share in the comments Note : Please update your RSVP if you are unable to make it. We are all taking time of our busy schedule to make this happen.

Where do you thrive? Your product fit across startup, scale-up & corporate

Where do you thrive? Your product fit across startup, scale-up & corporate

Thu, Aug 6, 7:30 AM
From Product Women (Melbourne)
4.7

**Where Do You Thrive?** *Finding your product fit across startup, scale-up and corporate* Managing a product at a 10-person startup looks markedly different to managing one at a scale up or established corporate. While the title is identical, the day-to-day job requirements, the influence, the pace, and the path forward have key differences. So how do you know where you thrive most? Join Product Women Melbourne for a panel conversation with product leaders who've built careers across startups, scale-ups and corporates. We'll explore: · What actually changes about the role at each stage — and what stays the same · The trade-offs nobody tells you about (autonomy vs. resources, speed vs. structure, ambiguity vs. process) · How to know if you're in the right environment for where you are in your career · What it's really like to move between stages — and what surprised our panellists most **Panellists:** [Anna Kelk,](https://www.linkedin.com/in/anna-kelk-743587a7/) Chief Product Officer, Splose [Kelly Nguyen](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kellynnguyen/), Senior Product Manager APAC, Heidi [Teresa Huang](https://www.linkedin.com/in/teresajhuang/), Head of Product Bupa Whether you're considering your next career move, curious about a different kind of company, or just want to know if the grass really is greener in a different setting, this session is for you. Expect honest conversation and insights and time to connect with the Product Women Melbourne community afterwards. **Venue**: Preacta, 260 Collins Street, Melbourne (Melbourne CBD) **Date:** 06 August 2026 **Time:** 5:30-7:30pm Kindly sponsored by Preacta: Talent Acquisition Solutions and Recruitment

Guru Hopping: Why The Next Teacher Will Not Enlighten You

Guru Hopping: Why The Next Teacher Will Not Enlighten You

Sun, Aug 9, 5:00 AM
From Spiritual Seekers- Nisargadatta, Ramana & J Krishnamurti
4.9

You move from guru to guru, and each move feels like progress. Each new Guru arrives with a fresh promise that this time something will finally open up. And for a few months it does. Then the old restlessness returns wearing a different robe. This cycle continues, and you move from one guru to another, looking for the right one who will enlighten you. What if this hopping itself is a trap? **What You'll Discover:** In this talk you'll discover why guru hopping happens, how it can hide the deeper search for completion, and what it means to stay with the truth that no teacher can give you. **Schedule** * Talk by Rajiv followed by open Q&A * Guided Meditation * Spiritual networking. Make friends with others on the spiritual path **About Rajiv** Rajiv dedicated years of his life seeking enlightenment. His pursuit for truth, reality, emptiness and self-discovery took him through the profound depths of mysticism. He meditated 14 hours a day, stayed with monks, lived in the Himalayan caves, learned from wise sages and researched every major spiritual system, including Zen, Non-Duality, Yoga, Buddhism etc. Then one momentous morning in 2005, he experienced his first shift into higher states of consciousness, an inner spiritual awakening. This was followed by days of infinite ecstasy and bliss. Finally, the years of seeking culminated and he realised his own true nature. He now shares his deep insights to help seekers progress on the path of awakening & meditation. His approach is secular, based on personal experience. You can read about his spiritual journey here — [https://innerspiritualawakening.com/rajiv-agarwal/my-journey/](https://innerspiritualawakening.com/rajiv-agarwal/my-journey/) **Venue** Kathleen Syme Library 251 Faraday Street, Carlton, VIC We will be in Multipurpose Room 2. We may take some photos to capture the moment. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let the organiser know at any time. This event is free and open to all adult seekers (18+).
