San Francisco Green Drinks is pleased to announce we are hosting our monthly **In-person Happy Hour Networking Event** on the **Second Thursday** **of every month**, at **Southern Pacific Brewing** \- a venue that should be familiar to our friends from Climatebase\, Work on Climate\, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area Climate Solutions Community\! Southern Pacific Brewing is located in a spacious warehouse in the Mission's industrial heart, that has been renovated into a bright and expansive brewery and restaurant complete with outdoor seating. It's about 6 blocks, or a 15-minute walk (less by bike!) from 16th Street Mission BART, so please plan ahead! Look for us at a table inside or in the Courtyard, depending on weather and crowds. Remember to bring your business cards, your positive attitude and your interest in discussing sustainability and climate change. Nametags will be available, but reusable ones are encouraged. Also, bring your cash or credit cards to pay for drinks. And be sure to tip our servers! As always, we encourage Green Drinkers to use public transportation, walk, bike or use some other form of low-carbon transportation to get to our event. Let's meet up to write on Sunday at Cafenated Coffee on Vine Street in Berkeley. Anyone who writes is welcome! We'll be inside of the cafe, and I'll have a sign saying "Take Time to Write". We'll write in two 50-minute blocks, with breaks in between and after. Come find us between 10 and 10:30 to get set up in time for our first one at 10:30. Schedule: 10:00 - arrive, get drinks, chat 10:30 - Focused writing block 11:30 - End. (This is the time that we need to vacate to make space for other customers of the cafe) About the location: There will be wifi and some (limited) outlets. We'll be indoors, but they typically leaves the doors open so that the space is well-ventilated. The casual restaurant offers coffee, tea, bottled drinks, and a wide range cooked food. Please buy something to support them! About the group: Anyone who writes is welcome -- novelists, playwrights, academics, journalers. This isn't a critique group, and there's no pressure to share your work. It's the first Thursday of the month. What does that mean? Fast and furious Irish set dancing in San Francisco, of course! Dancing starts earlier (**8pm**) and goes longer – three solid hours of music, dancing, and fun. We have a different band performing live traditional Irish music for us each week. Check back here later to find out who this week's performers are! Typical attendance is 15-25 dancers. (Note that the RSVP count on Meetup doesn't reflect the actual number attending – these events are advertised in numerous places.) **COVID-19 Policy:** **Boosted vaccination is MANDATORY.** Additionally, if you are displaying any symptoms of illness or if you feel under the weather, we kindly ask that you please remain at home and come back another time - there will be dancing again on the following Thursday! **Cost:** $10.
