Climate Within is coming to the vibrant Rooftop Flohmarkt with a 3 days Book Reading Zone. Come and join us to take a refreshing pause for the mind over the weekend. Amidst great food, music, and energy, we’re creating a Free Book Reading Zone—a calm and inviting space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Bring a book, a notebook, a sketchpad, knitting needles, whatever you’d like to spend a quiet hour doing. All projects and all participants are welcome. We’re building a community of readers and creators who value depth, presence, and shared silence. The reading and creating isn't the real highlight, though, it’s in the people who return and make it feel like a familiar room. There’s no entrance fee, but please order at least one item from the café and don’t bring outside food or drinks 🙂 No assignments, expectations, or pressure. Kreative Schreibübung mit anschließender Diskussion zum Erfahrungsaustausch, Inspiration und Motivation zu sammeln. Ein Raum für alle, die kreativ schreiben möchten – egal ob du gerade erst anfängst oder schon länger schreibst. **Thema dieses Termins:** **StadtBlicke - Berliner Ansichten als Schreibimpuls nutzen** Berlin ist Wohn- und Arbeitsort, touristisches Ziel und manchmal auch multisensorische Herausforderung. Anhand von Fotografien nähern wir uns mit kreativen Texten "unserem" Berlin. Welche Fotografie stösst eine Textidee an? Kann ein Ort, ein Bild, das kreative Schreiben beeinflussen und wenn ja, wie? **Moderation: Andrea R.** "Ich lade zu einer kreativen Auseinandersetzung mit der Stadt Berlin ein und bin sehr gespannt auf euren Blick und eure Texte." **Was dich erwartet:** In unseren Treffen arbeiten wir mit abwechslungsreichen Schreibimpulsen, die neue Perspektiven eröffnen und spielerisches Experimentieren ermöglichen. Du schreibst direkt vor Ort, teilst deine Texte mit der Gruppe (freiwillig!) und erhältst konstruktives Feedback. Die Atmosphäre ist offen und unterstützend. Monthly Book Club Meeting - September

Dear Book Enthusiasts, For our September gathering, we’ll be reading ***The House on the Hill*** by the Italian writer **Cesare Pavese**. This atmospheric and deeply introspective novel explores loneliness, desire, memory, and the experience of war. Set in Turin during the final years of the Second World War, it follows Corrado, a solitary teacher who finds himself increasingly drawn into the lives of people around him as the city is transformed by violence and uncertainty. Through his perspective, Pavese creates a haunting meditation on isolation, responsibility, and the difficulty of truly connecting with others. 📅 Date & Time: Sunday, 13.09.2026 at 15:00 📍 Location: Audrey coffee, Holzendorffstraße 18, 14057 Berlin 💬 Fee: As always, a 3 € contribution after the meeting helps cover organization costs. Reading in Companionable SILENCE - Botanical Garden Series

Susana is taking you to paradise in this (and another) edition of Reading in Companionable Silence - please see her lovely invitation. Let's read at a paradise for all garden lovers: the Royal Garden Academy, the former “Royal Gardening School,” directly across from the Botanical Garden! We'll order upon arrival, chat and eat for half an hour. Then we read for an hour in silence and talk about our reading impressions! The idea is to then enjoy a walk around Berlin's charming botanical gardens and maybe even find more reading spots inside. That part is optional, of course 🤗. Admission costs EUR 10, or EUR 5 reduced. Annual tickets costs EUR 30. Susana Only RSVP if you really intend to come and are sure that you can make it. Auf den Bühnen des ufaFabrik Boulevard präsentieren sich Künstler:innen und Musiker:innen verschiedener Genres. Ausgewählte Marktstände laden mit Kunsthandwerk und regionalen Produkten u.v.m zum Stöbern oder zu Mitmachaktionen ein. Für ein vielfältiges kulinarisches Angebot sorgen die ausgewählten Essensstände. Das Kultur-Programm bietet Unterhaltung für Jung und Alt, umsonst und draußen mit Live Musik. Nachmittags lesen wir auf der Freilichtbühne diverse kurze Texte, die in der kreativen Schreibwerkstatt entstanden sind. Die genaue Uhrzeit kann sich kurzfristig ändern.
