For our 'Autumn Social' we'll be doing a live music pub crawl around York city centre. Starting location and route TBC so please check back here closer to the time.

We're going to write a song. There is absolutely no skill level or experience required to attend! It's completely informal, and there's no pressure to contribute anything (least of all anything 'good'), so if you fancy just coming along to see what happens, please do!

We'll start in the morning and then break for lunch around 13.30 and reconvene afterwards.

We'll play some games and exercises and have a general play around, and by the end of the day, one way or another, we'll have a song. Will it be a good song? No, obviously not. That's part of the fun.

You don't need to bring anything, but feel free to bring an instrument if you'd like to 😊

We’ll most likely be meeting at the Hooting Owl Distillery lounge bar (on Rougier Street) upstairs, but please check back here closer to the time to confirm.

Each month we vote on a 'theme' for a playlist. Anyone who wants to can suggest a song of that theme to be added.

We'll have it playing at the social and send out the track list, so everyone can listen/enjoy/discuss the songs. Anyone is of course welcome to join, regardless of if they've contributed to that month's playlist.

The theme for this month:
'Songs you would play to a fish if someone asked you to play a song to a fish'

If you'd like to contribute to the playlist please message me by 5pm on the day of the social with your song suggestions (up to 3 songs each).

We meet at Royal Oak (on Goodramgate) in the Parlour Room upstairs.
