What we’re about
Fun group of women and non-binary people looking for new friends. Our outings will include trivia, live music, and maybe even a book club! We are starting to get back to in-person events; and we request that if you are not yet vaccinated, you only come to the events that we are able to social distance at.
- Note: When you submit your request to join the group, please display a genuine photo of yourself (not a group of people, not a cartoon image, etc.) We want to know who to look out for at our events when we're meeting for the first time. Also, please include a real first name (nickname is fine), but no random usernames (e.g., friendlygal78).
A couple rules:
- No-Shows: We realize that sometimes things come up that conflict with events that you have RSVP'd for, however, we have a zero-tolerance no-show policy. If you no-show (i.e. do not attend an event you RSVP'd for) one time without messaging one of the organizers, you will be removed from the group.
- Last Minute Cancellation: Again, we realize things come up and that's fine. However, if you need to cancel your RSVP within 12 hours of an event, please DM one of the hosts or post on the event page to let us know. If you cancel last minute 3 times without posting or messaging to let us know, you will be removed from the group.

Ground Rules
- Check the Meetup app: We know the app can be glitchy more often than not. Be sure to regularly check for event notifications, waitlist updates, and comments on event pages.
- Last-Minute Cancellation: Life happens. If you need to change your RSVP from "attending" to "not going", please give enough notice by messaging one of the organizers and/or comment on the event's page (preferably 12+ hours before an afternoon/evening event or 24+ hours before a morning event). Failure to notify the host of a late cancellation will be considered a no-show as it could prevent someone on the waitlist from joining in your place.
- No-Shows: We realize that sometimes things come up that conflict with events that you have RSVP'd for. However, we have a zero-tolerance no-show policy. If you no-show (i.e. do not attend an event you RSVP'd for) one time without messaging one of the organizers, you will be removed from the group. This is out of fairness to your fellow Meetup friends since we keep the attendee limits lower to foster quality connections and engaging events.
