Bold Park Thursday Evening Walk (Internal Trails)
Bold Park, Tuart Car Park, Perry Lakes Drive, City Beach, AUJoin us for a workout along the internal bush trails of the beautiful Bold Park near City Beach. Expect a brisk hike, with an average speed of around 6kph, on undulating bush tracks with a few significant hills thrown in for fun.
At about 6km in length, this one hour workout is a great way to finish the day.
These hikes are intended for fit, regular walkers who are looking for more of a workout in nature as opposed to a gentle evening stroll.
We all meet up at the start of the track in the Tuart Car Park and head off on our hike at 5.30pm on the dot, or, slightly earlier if all registered members are present.
So you don't get lost. Here is the map. 😁

City Beach to Bold Park loop then a picnic (10km)
Clancy's Fish Bar, 195 Challenger Parade, City Beach, WA, AUThe long range forecast is predicting a cool one for today but with the mild temperatures between 16°C to 19°C during the walk and no precipitation we will be fine.
This walk starts near Clancy’s Fish Bar at City Beach and heads to Bold Park up the Reabold Hill Lookout, Zamia, Hovea, Possum, Camel Heritage, Yoorna, Pine, Sheoak Walks and back to the beach via the million dollar houses. We should complete this walk in 2 hours with a social picnic together afterwards.
What to bring: A gourmet picnic of course but for those who can’t be bothered to prepare something you can buy take away Fish & Chips at Clancy’s Fish Bar who will also provide you with that coffee hit. There are also 2 BBQs just a little north of Clancys that might be free. BYO cold drink, a thermos of hot coffee and a chair/picnic rug.
Where to find us: Meeting at the car park just north of Clancy’s for a prompt start. Click on the map for the exact location.
Parking: Plenty of parking nearby.
Distance: Approx. 10km with the mandatory hill or two.
Difficulty: Mostly hard compacted limestone paths and a few sandy tracks. Some decent hills are also on the agenda but nothing the regular walkers can't handle. Expect an easy walk but at a reasonable pace of 6 km/h. I would only recommend it for regular walkers. We should complete the walk in almost 2 hours.
Toilets: Near the meetup point.
