Welcome to Winchester Connections !
Looking to meet new people, make new friends or just want to try out some different activities ?
We are a new group with plans to get people together, organise and take part in regular events such as : Walks, Meals, Theatre/Cinema Trips, Sports Events, Pub Quizzes, Live Music, Games Nights & Much more.

Membership numbers will be reviewed on a regular basis, anyone that has not visited the site in four months will be removed along with anyone who has had three no shows without comment. It is important that if you are unable to attend or are likely to be late you communicate that to us.

You assume personal responsibility on all group walks. You should evaluate your level of fitness to participate in any event and ensure that you wear clothing and footwear appropriate to the terrain and weather conditions.

No one connected to or part of this group will be held liable for any injury that may occur during this activity.

Winchester Treasure Hunt followed by Social

Thought you knew all there is to know about Winchester ?
Lived in Winchester a long time or new to the area ?
This Treasure Hunt will take you to parts of the City you might not know existed.
This is a walking Treasure Hunt/Quiz, suitable for all, in and around the City.
We will start and finish at 13:30 and finish at 17:00.
A Buffet and Social (at a secret location) will follow.
Guests, prospective new members and teams from other Meet Up Groups welcome.
There will be a cost for this event, still to be finalised, dependant on room, food and prizes cost. It will be no more than £15:00 per head and confirmed nearer the time.
Update
We are now well advanced in planning for this event
Winchester Rugby Club, Nuns Walk, Winchester, SO23 7EF (what3words: plantings,silently.pylon) have kindly agreed to let us use their car park for free, the Treasure Hunt will start from there at 1:30pm. It is also only a short walk from our final destination.
Teams consisting of 4 members will compete in friendly competition, in this not too difficult event. At least one member of each team should have a fully charged phone with them.
We have managed to keep the cost at £15:00 per head, this covers the cost of printing, prizes and food (not drink) after the event.
