Welcome to Westmount Books & Beer! 📖🍺
We're a local neighbourhood Book Club for Westmount Kitchener and Waterloo (Ontario) and nearby folks who love a good book. Add drinks and some great conversation and we have some fun evenings coming up.
This is not your regular Book Club - there is NO set book! Here's how it works:
👉 Choose a book, read it, bring it to Books & Beer
👉 We'll go 'round the table - Tell us:
- Title, Author, Genre
- Why did you choose this book - What's interesting about it -
Your audience will be wondering whether they should read it so leave a little mystery! - Would you recommend it - worth a read or not?
- Questions? Comments?
👉 About 5 minutes each, but it'll be hard to move on when the book sounds amazing. We'll decide as a group on a strategy and try to circle the table in about an hour. That leaves time after for followup on that book that sounds amazing and more convo.
Bring your book if you're done with it and exchange for that amazing book if you want!
