We love Austen in Austin

Austin English Country Dancers are meeting Monday night from 7:30pm-9:45pm except holidays.
These days, they’re keeping it simple, mixing 17th, 18th and 19th century favorites with modern compositions and English ceili. You don’t need to come with a partner, and admission is $5. It’s a welcoming group that always has fun.

Dinner and a movie! We’ll be watching to Halloween classic Hocus Pocus at my house. I’ve never seen it, so no spoilers! Dinner and drinks will be provided.

Because this is an event at a private residence, the event address will be provided only to group members who have already attended a public event through our group. Thanks for understanding!

"I am not at all in a humor for writing; I must write on until I am."

Let's write together and share (if you're comfortable). It can be any writing of choice, be it fan fic, memoir, romance, nonfiction.

We'll have a few writing games and exercises to warm up, then write separately or you can co-write with a friend.

November is National Novel Writing Month, and though the old NaNoWriMo organization dissolved, NaNo 2.0 (created by the original founder Chris Baty) has been launched. 50000 words. 30 days. Let's give it a go!
