Vintage 1960 Twin Cities 50+

Hello Vintage 1960 Members:

We survived 2025, mostly intact. As for the host, I will be posting only a few events for the next few months, as I take some time for personal travel, with a Caribbean Cruise in January and my visit to Italy in March. I return in early April. Then I will need a few weeks to recover.

By May, when the snow melts and outdoor activities start gearing up, you will see more and more fun events being posted.

For the year 2026, I'm hoping to have a St. Croix River Cruise, a Mississippi Cruise, a Lake Minnetonka cruise, just like last year. We will be seeing our favorite bands, the Good, the Bad & the Funky, High & Mighty, Free & Easy Band, the Rolling Stoners, Mojo Monks, and hopefully the Fabulous Armadillos.

What else? Paint and Sips, some wineries, lake walks, a few breweries, another MN Twins Game, and the St. Paul Saints. We will probably skip the Eagle Center this year, along with the Spam Museum, but with the outdoor festival season starting in late May, we will have plenty to do. My dream Summer involves sitting on a patio, listening to live music and socializing with friends.

I'm investigating doing a "London, Normandy, Paris, Belgium, Germany" trip in 2027. As a major WWII history buff, it would be interesting to see Omaha Beach, location of D-Day, where the Battle of the Bulge took place in Belgium, and the allied invasion of Germany.
I'm leaning towards June of 2027. If you are interested, talk to me in person.
