(NOT) HERE! Absence, Presence, Memory: Gallery Visit with Liz Gartz + Mascletá
ESPACIO RONDA VALENCIA, Av. d'Aragó, 17, El Pla del Real, 46010 València, Valencia, valencia, ESJoin us for a very special artist visit and a mascleta afterwards!
Fallas is a liminal space between the eras (both bygone & future), a wow-now moment bridging tradition and fantasy, a pulse on our multiple (un)shareable realities.
The art of LIZ GARTZ dwells in the same fertile dreamscape which is why we welcome you to a guided artist visit at Espacio Ronda to explore her latest exhibition "Vacíos, Memorias Presencias" featuring 30+ works.
How do we best handle emotional heritage as a (dis)advantage in the quest for a renewed self? Masks, mirrors, abstraction, the tension between versions of our past and future come into play. The theme of resilience in the face of destruction resonates with the times we inhabit.
Inspired by these works, we will take a leisurely stroll over the mascleta afterwards to celebrate Fallas as our own ritual of rebirth.
Explore Liz Gartz oeuvre on Instagram and Saatchi Art.
