About us
Unplugged Commons hosts analog social events that break the spell of the screen. Tech companies design devices to captivate and addict us, and those screens stole our common spaces. We push back.
Welcome to Unplugged Commons | Dayton! We design premium, high-energy social events where you naturally build genuine connections over a shared table. Forget about awkward networking events or shouting over loud crowds. Instead, we use beautifully crafted modern games as the ultimate icebreaker to help you meet incredible new friends in a safe, engaging, and radically welcoming environment. You never have to worry about memorizing rules or making the first move—our expert Game Masters handle all the heavy lifting, teaching, and hosting so you can focus entirely on laughing and socializing. Whether you arrive with a full crew or walk in completely solo, we always save an open seat just for you. Join the community, pull up a chair, and discover the absolute best way to expand your circle in Dayton!
Our gatherings aim at one goal: genuine, face-to-face connection. You do not need to know the rules to join in. Our expert Teachers run games at our events to help you learn the ropes and start playing immediately.
We reclaim our shared spaces.
Step away from the screen, grab a drink, and join the resistance today.
