The plan is to do a walk In Oxford and visit some of the main museums and places of interest.

We will be taking the 9:49 train from Basingstoke and them meeting at the Ashmolean museum (very nice free museum) at 11 o clock where people traveling from other towns will join us.
After looking around the museum for a bit we will go on to the Pits River museum (also free).
We will then get lunch in the covered market. After lunch depending on time we can go on the the Botanic Gardens (10 pounds, they are very nice though if we run out of time we will skip this bit).
We will then walk past Carfax tower and Christchuch and then walk past the castle to the station.
The total route is 3.3 miles, for those that want to we may have an optional excursion to Tolkien's grave at the end of the day.
