Adulting is hard. Making new friends as an adult? Even harder.
That’s why I started this group for 20 and 30 somethings in Central NJ who are trying their best to figure out this whole “grown-up” thing… and want some good company while doing it.
Whether you're new to the area, starting a new chapter, or just looking to expand your social circle beyond coworkers and cousins you’re welcome here.
We’ll host a mix of chill and fun events like:
– Game nights & trivia
– Group hikes & park picnics
– Brewery or coffee shop meetups
– Movie nights, beach days, or even board game brunches
Expect a low-pressure vibe, good conversations, and a group of people who don’t pretend to have it all figured out.

🐺 Walk on the Wild Side – Wolf Sanctuary Tour
Howling Woods Farm, 1371 W Veterans Hwy, Jackson - 08527, NJ, USEver wanted to see wolves up close?
Join us for a guided visit to Howling Woods Farm, a wolf and wolf-dog sanctuary in Jackson, NJ. We will tour the farm, learn about wolf conservation, hear interesting facts about wolf behavior, and meet some truly majestic animals.
During the tour, we may meet members of the resident wolf pack including Orion, Lyra, Raven, Luna, Jack, Oberon, Sayen, Aristos, Bristol, Buddy, Tawny, and Holly.
This is a guided educational tour, not a petting zoo. It is perfect for anyone who loves animals, nature, or just wants to try something different.
Whether you are new to the group or a returning regular, this is a fun and unique experience with built-in conversation starters and great photo opportunities.
Important Details
- You MUST read the "What You Need to Know and Bring" section on their website here.
- You may NOT wear any of the following
- Any animal products
Wool (sweaters, etc.)
Real or imitation fur
Down feather or ‘puffy’ jackets
Leather (leather shoes are permitted)
Loose flowing clothing
Strong perfumes or cologne
Any apparel that has attachments which dangle, or any objects that dangle.
Anything with odor in your pockets (gum, cigarettes, candy, etc)
Open toed footwear or heels.
Make sure everyone in your party is aware of these requirements, or they will not be allowed to go inside the pens.
Spots are limited so purchase your ticket ASAP.

💫 Trying Our Best to Balance (On Skates)
United Skates, 2270 West County Line Road, Jackson, NJ, USLet’s lace up and pretend we know what we’re doing.
We’re heading to United Skates of America in Jackson for a classic roller skating night with music, lights, nostalgia, and just enough chaos to make it fun.
Whether you:
- Haven’t skated since middle school
- Used to dominate birthday parties
- Or plan to cling to the wall for 20 minutes first
You’ll fit right in.

Admission:
- $15 online
- $17 at the door
Skate Rentals:
- Roller skates $6 additional
- Roller blades $7 additional
- Skate Mate trainer $7 additional
All payments are made directly to the venue.

⚠️ Notes:
- This is a general public session, so other skaters will be present.
- If you haven’t skated in years, no shame in taking it slow.
- Wear comfortable clothes and socks.

Rossi’s Bar & Grill, 2110 Whitehorse Mercerville Rd, Hamilton, NJ, USJoin Trying Our Best To Adult for a fun, low pressure Open Mic Night at Rossi’s Bar & Grill. This is event at Rossi’s and always draws a great mix of musicians, comedians, spoken word artists, and a supportive crowd.
Whether you are performing, cheering people on, or just hanging out with a drink and meeting new people, this is an easy and social way to spend a Friday night.

- I will have Meetup signs on the tables so it is easy to find us
- Be sure to pick up your name tag when you get there, they will be on the table
- Feel free to arrive a little early to settle in and meet people before the performances begin
